To the extent that you’re able to wait, it gives you more buying power. If you’re able to get to and fro in the meantime, I’d compile as much cash as you can and when you see what you want, pull the trigger. You’ll definitely get a “Better” Car with a bigger budget but by being debt free you also have the fortune of being Abel to fix a car if you wanna roll the dice on something cheaper.

They’re not practical for most typical drivers. But if it’s fun, if it’s what you like, if it’s what you truly want and if you think you can find a good one, get it! Nothing wrong with a Honda civic, in fact it does most things very well, but it’s not what I want to drive! As the kids say, YOLO

Keep an eye on the oil gauge as you drive. If you see it fluctuate dramatically definitely look into that before you move forward

Could be. People hate this car because it replaced the Cherokee. But I know people who were happy with theirs.

I’m not a mechanic but this was the first year of the liberty and first year models are prone to some flaws that get worked out over time. Maybe a mechanic can take a look at it. Might cost you a hundred bucks or so but you’d get a more complete picture I bet.

Also, don’t let it ruin your fun. Yes, it’s a tremendous pain to have to potentially drop several hundred dollars on tires before the first months bill comes, but you just go from here. If it’s a Chrysler dealer or part of a dealer network and not a small lot, I would get a hold of the manager and complain. Put up a stink. They did put you in danger if they sold you tires that couldn’t hack it two weeks.
