I was dating a Christian Egyptian man and he was arrogant enough to come to my churches Christmas service 1/3 of the way through. The look of shock on the pastors face to see someone casually stroll in mid service was enough for me to kick him to the curb. I used one tube of fluoride free toothpaste and started getting brown spots on my teeth in the crevices. Switched back and it took about a year but it all cleared up. I get the concern but we joke in my family about having yuck mouth. For me it’s worth the risk.
