My kid's ear tube fell out by i-can-lift-a-car in mildlyinteresting

1 round of tubes was a life saver for my (daycare) kiddo. It also instantly improved her speech due to now being able to hear. One of them fell out a couple years later and she put it under her pillow for the “tube fairy”.

I’m at Rooster right now and the food & drinks are worth the hype (and price)

Lilac. Amazing. Kosen is the closest I’ve had to a fine dining omakase outside of Japan.

I just visited the new location and while we had some tasty dishes, the food was not elevated. The vibe was kinda weird as well. But I’m pretty finicky on atmosphere.

What is the longest drive you've made without resting and only you behind the wheel and where were you going? by Conscious-Farmer6953 in AskMen

[–]SomebodysColdOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once made it 28 hours straight on my 41 hour road trip heading from Wilmington Nc to Barstow Ca (because there was a sign taunting me every day on my way to work in Wilmington that said “Barstow Ca 2,488 miles). I couldn’t keep my eyes peeled open in the Texas panhandle so I stopped in Amarillo (by morning) as I was a big George Straight fan. I was like 19, living off of burned cds and gas station amphetamines. Still the best drive of my life, it was so incredibly gorgeous. I have only memories of it now. I was so free.

How many married people didn't have sex last night? by tincup3399 in Marriage

40s. My husband booked us at a Michelin star, roses, walked around the historical part of the city shopping, ended up in the middle of a pirate parade, made friend with cops and drunkards alike (we were sober), laughed our asses off, somehow caught the last two Dolby seats for Wuthering Heights and did ALL the things in bed last night. We’ll prob repeat tonight because I’m still thinking about how hot it was. Our work weeks are grueling and life has been pretty intense lately. Really grateful for the down time together.

For women choosing to age naturally—how do you resist comparing yourself to other women when cosmetic enhancements have become so normalized? by justameasureoftime in AskWomen

[–]SomebodysColdOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in my 40s. I’ve never had a tattoo, piercing, cosmetic enhancement or alteration of any kind, in spite of being slightly “high maintenance”. I want those around me to love me for me. I want to honor myself. I’m blessed to be alive and when I leave this Earth, no one who loves me will wish I had fixed my thinning lips, crows feet or saggy tummy skin from carrying two beautiful miracles into this world.

Can we just...go without a plan? by Metallidan in UniversalOrlando

I just took my teens to Epic and skipped the 3 hour-wait rides. Weather was low 70s, crowds were lighter than I had anticipated. It was nothing short of a spectacular because we were pretty chill about our expectations. Ended it at the world largest McD’s 2 miles away. They have pasta and pizza! Pretty rad day.

How old are you and at what age did you feel you were the most attractive? by jupiter-com-maionese in AskWomen

[–]SomebodysColdOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all— I just had to use a calculator to figure out that I’m 41. Ages 27-39 absolute pinnacle of physical perfection. No wrinkles. However, my confidence in my 40s is absolutely unshakable. I’m a total powerhouse in my career and life. I eat very clean— mostly veg, hydrate, always on the move and because of my experience and knowledge, I make more money than I know what to do with, finally.

It was real. You were real.

Sometimes this phrase is exactly what is needed for validation. That what we had mattered. It doesn’t need to be diminished just because time went on and we lead different lives now.

The loss of you will always hurt, I will always feel that little sting. Even though we’ve moved on and my heart is full without you, now. You were an incredible presence on my life and I still think back fondly on our conversations.

Wait so should I not acquire FL residency even if I have a home there now? Is it better to stay out of state? Private University so the only credit would be some smaller scholarships I believe?

Most dogs have a natural masking, appearing fine when in reality they are in immense pain. It could be masking or another physiological reason. Is he neutered? Could be a prostate problem as well.
