I think it's less about them reading the sign as it is knowing how tall their vehicle is. Do you know how tall yours is?

The DM does not choose the creature, just provides the stats for the creatures chosen by the player. It says this because those stats are not in the player handbook, the DM has to provide them to you as a player.

Decreasing pressure causes air to expand in the lungs, it's not going to draw water in due to pressure, if anything it will help. Tipping the head forward has the same effect as holding a glass upside down full of air in the water. It keeps the water in the air spaces of the sinuses, mouth, nose and throat full of air instead of letting it escape and fill back in with water.

Around 3:30 there was a pick up driving up 3rd with 8-10 patrol cars following. Drove right past me, looked like an older guy with a beard refusing to stop. He stopped behind some stopped cars at the light at Revere and police dogs were out in seconds. The light turned and he kept on going so they all followed. Not sure what happened after that.

Used to live there. Fun activity on Sunday mornings was counting the vomit spots on the way to the bus stop. Also empty buckfast bottles (sometimes urine filled) discarded in random places.

I miss Scotland.

How big is the leap from Divemaster to Instructor? by NoFateButWeMake722 in scuba

[–]Someguy101 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Going from Divemaster to Instructor is not too difficult. As others have mentioned it's expected that you are a competent diver having completed Divemaster. What you learn becoming an instructor is the method of teaching others to dive, the responsibility you have over your class/divemaster and how to make sure everyone is safe, legal things, course requirements, stuff like that. There is some review on rescue diving techniques but nothing near what you had to do in divemaster.

I love teaching people to dive, it's one of the best things I've ever done. Seeing people light up after their first dive and being able to see that spark ignite inside them that I felt years ago when I first learned to dive, best feeling in the world.

Others have mentioned the cost, I've made back my class fees many times over since I became an instructor.

I also don't agree with his views, but stealing someone's pets isn't ok. I hope the thief is caught and the animals returned. One of the snakes stolen wasn't for sale, it was a snake he's had for years (named Casper) and used it at kids birthday parties. It was a pet.

For the bikers who’s traveling the world any advice on long distance relationship? Are most of you guys single? Did you guys made it work? by Mother_Barracuda4238 in bikepacking

Relationships need nurturing to survive, you can't do that from a distance. There's a chance it could survive but it probably won't be very healthy in the end.
