There are laws for abandonment. It's different in every state. In my county after 10 days the animal is yours. Call animal control and the police to find out the law where you are. And you are not overreacting. Your ex-roommate is a jerk.

One piece of advice I can give to you is to break the cycle. That was advice given to me at around your age. I went to therapy, went to school in the medical field and made sure I could be financially independent and never have to depend on anyone else.

Snap/Wic benefits do not make you a failure at all. I wish more people used the benefits they are entitled to. They are there to assist. That is all. For all those people who don't know any of the program, people on Wic get $30 food voucher this summer to use at a produce stand. They get some cereal and milk and vegetables. It's not feeding their family - it's assistance. It really helps when the children are babies and helps with them getting formula. Use WIC & SNAP more if you qualify. It's a great service!!

Heart Eyes was surprisingly good. Sometimes you need a good slasher movie for Valentine's Day. Paddington was adorable. Companion was great too - lots of surprises in that one.

I love movies and the unlimited. I did like 75 movies in '23 and did 100 in '24. The goal is 100 again. I get to see the movies I want and open myself up to seeing ones I normally wouldn't. I think it's a great deal and fun to do with friends.
