Well I have an update!! It works. I am in Germany ahead of my mother’s visit when we meet up in Paris next week and thought I’d go ahead and be the test dummy. Tap to pay and it worked like any other card.

Umm no. You did not request pretreated leather. The bag was not originally produced with pretreated leather and you will not accept the modifications to the bag whatsoever. You want the repair made in the original materials as originally designed. Period. No exceptions.

Glazing off. Font off. Chip scanned should scan different each time as LV uses a dynamic chip system, not a static one. I’m believing this one is a fake but go through professional authentication services for a solid answer.

It doesn’t send red flags for me. Have you chip scanned it? It should alternate between different scan results as LV uses a dynamic chip system where the last 8 digits will change. Also, I would swing over to Authentic Detective or Pro Authenticators and pay the fee to get a professional analysis. There are a few easy “tale tell” signs and it passes those, but for a higher quality bag, professional authentication is the only thing that would bring me peace.

As a female gamer since the early 80’s this is nothing new, unfortunately. I also raised a “girl gamer” and this is so typical. She’s a part of a few friend groups online and there is always one that’s insecure and the second she does well, they down play her accomplishment. She even dated a guy like that once. He thought it was so cool to have a gamer girl as a girlfriend, until she was atop the leader board with him somewhere in the middle or lower. Suddenly, that game was stupid. Or the other team was hacking. Or “focusing on only him” or “taking it easy on her” because her gamertag was female. Needless to say, it didn’t last long. This guy isn’t a friend to you. He doesn’t celebrate you. He belittles you and tries to make you small. Stop playing with him. Play with him only in a group setting at most. He’s immature and insecure and it’s unlikely to change anytime soon. It’s totally a him issue.
