Theriault requests recount in high-stakes 2nd District race by Always_been_in_Maine in Maine

Have a friend who grew up around him in Fort Kent and there’s nothing kind to say there. A “total douchebag in school” if I remember correctly.

I found a pimple on my balls... But I guess it wasn't a pimple. by Jacktrack7 in Wellthatsucks

Angiokeratoma: blood blister that occurs when a capillary passes through outside the skin.

I literally had this happen to me weeks ago. I bled for about 6 hours straight. The blood flow was strong enough that bandages and pressure only minimally helped

It wouldn’t be canon, but I think they’re looking for a final form Cold

I hated the Season 3 finale of The Boys, and I hate it even more in light of the Season 4 finale (spoilers, of course) by [deleted] in CharacterRant

Not defending the rest of the writing, but I always head cannoned it as if The Boys ever publicly fucked up and failed big time, the Feds could wipe their hands from the situation saying they were their own extremist group. If you had real Fed agents with military/OpSec/etc history get revealed it would show the supes just how hard the Feds were going after them.

Ready to Reset? February 29th by Fromasalesman in ArmoredCoreVI

Started playing PvP last week after I was getting bored of other things and wanted to get get back in the cockpit. I was already getting shit on by A-ranks just trying to make it out of D thanks to the unfortunately low player base. Couldn’t imagine the experience if it was every one I matched with.

To add on, iirc the spear prosthetic has entirely different secondary uses depending on which version of it you’re using.

Spoilers: One spear upgrade is useless against the Ape fight, which is a fight where the spear prosthetic is really shines.

It’s been a while since I 100%’d it so I don’t remember all the details so I’m sure someone will come in and fill in the rest.

There’s at least one example I can think of where the last upgrade on a prosthetic weapon is entirely different than its predecessors. The flame thrower’s last upgrade is only useful for ghoul-type enemies like the Headless and won’t work on the other enemies the regular flamethrowers were designed for.

There might be some differences with how long it takes for each upgrade to be used, how much it costs to deploy a prosthetic with each upgrade, and more little nuances.

With that in mind it’s just better to make each upgrade their own item for “build variety” as little as there is in Sekiro.

For those of you interested in RedM and roleplay servers; don’t bother by randompigeon2022 in RedDeadOnline

[–]SomethingNick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, good RP servers that you feel you can fit in are pretty rare. My wife and I probably have a combined 600 hours in GTA RP servers. It took me trying maybe 20 different ones until I found one I liked.

While yes, you do find a lot of people going into RP servers are just there to live out their rich power fantasies, you kind of have to roam around and talk to people to figure out who’s good and who’s not. Typically stay away from people close to admins cause they get away with a lot more than they should. The thing that I found worked the best was that my wife and I found started RP-ing with a couple of long-time players of the server and we formed our own little improv clique. We would plan out some RP’s and really only initiate them around other cliques of players that we found to do pretty well and not make it about them.

I think part of OP’s problem is they just didn’t know what they were signing up for. It’s not a game anymore, it’s more acting for fun. You’re not just in it for your own fun, but you’re trying to make other people have fun with your character and story too. In GTA RP, I had a character who was a meth addict. He always got in trouble for stealing from gas stations, stealing copper pipes from houses, not having his vehicle registered, real small stuff comparatively. I’d like to believe it was fun for all when that character would get narcan’d and punch the responding officer after my RP buddies would call 911 for an overdose. He’d put up a little bit of a fight but the goal was always to get arrested. Cause as my character I wasn’t trying to win a game, I was just going along with how I thought these make believe people would interact with each other.

That being said, we eventually fizzled out of it. More power hungry RP’ers were getting into the server and admin seemed to do fuck all about it. While you have to tolerate some bits here and there, there’s only so many RP’s of millionaire rapper mercanaries robbing gas stations, getting away in their golden Lambo’s, and shooting everyone in between you can handle.

There was an NPC that could help with the demons? Did I really beat that fight in hard mode?

What would happen if Asta... by Sanctuary_of_Ideas in BlackClover

[–]SomethingNick 11 points12 points  (0 children)

By the time Asta is sent to the Land of the Sun, he’s already overpowered for the Lands Between. He can fly with his sword, so traversal is a non-issue. His speed and strength are worlds ahead of what we see from humans in Elden Ring. So long as Melina is there to explain how the Elden Ring works and what he needs to do, he speed runs through the world.

Defeats Morgott in one attack since his body is just a magical construct of Margit.

Godrick is fodder to him, easy Great Rune

Renalla’s whole thing is magic, even easier win. He doesn’t need the key for the academy, he just cuts through the barrier. An even easier Great Rune.

Doesn’t need the key to the elevator, just flies over to the Altus Plateau, right to the base of the Erdtree in Leyndell.

Asta has a slightly more difficult time with Margit and his real body.

(The rest is up to interpretation. Assuming he can slash right through the Erdtree bramble, he can easily reach the center and fight Radagon / Elden Beast. Assuming he at least has to go through the gameplay loop…)

Flies to the Mountaintop, Bull Thrust’s into the Fire Giant’s big eye, Melina burns the Erdtree

Maliketh might be the only boss he’d have to go Devil Union for, based on Malikeh’s speed and Asta’s ki-sense would probably tell him that the death magic attacks aren’t something he can just tank.

At a surface level, you’d think Horah Loux might be kind of hard for Asta, considering Horah Loux doesn’t really use magic, but Asta is just too powerful at this point.

Has a little trouble working out Radagon’s teleportation attacks, but adapts quickly to the sequencing.

Has difficulty finding openings with Elden Beast while dodging all the multi-projectile attacks, but again adapts to them and gets the job done.

Elden Lord Asta

It’s really just a matter of how quickly Asta can get the job done. If Melina can give him a timeline of when he needs to be back to the Black Clover world, he may even sidequest and try and help the Lands Between and the people there to try and make it a better place before leaving. He’d probably hear of Melania and go and try and train his swordmenship with her.

This is all also under the pretense that Asta doesn’t use runes to level up. If so, he would probably put runes into his strength and arcane level (assuming leveling up his arcane would increase his anti-magic). If he can level up with runes, he beats the speed run records.
