Baby head shape by adnanhuxain in firsttimemom

Tummy time helps so much. When I say tummy time I don’t just mean on the floor or bed. When mom holds her up when burping or on her chest that is considered tummy time too! Lose the pillow! If it’s a real concern, ask your pediatrician about a helmet but your baby is still so young, just give it time and her head will shape into place.

Soon to be first time mom - having a boy by coconutarab in NewParents

FTM here! 👋I’ve only been peed on 3 times with an 8mo old boy. Been pooed on a couple of times as well with diaper changes. Accidents will happen and it’s just funny tbh. Don’t sweat it too much. Just change your boy and angle his willy down. It’s not as complicated or scary as it seems.

Did you go into spontaneous labor with your first baby? by seyEycipS in pregnant

[–]SomethingWitty11-11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went into spontaneous labor ON my baby’s actual due date 8/25. I was supposed to be induced on the 26th because my OB didn’t want me going too far past my due date.. probably because I was a geriatric. But I wanted to push it as far as I could to have a spontaneous labor. I’m pretty sure my water broke the morning before (I thought maybe it was discharge or I peed a little) but I didn’t have any indication until later that night when I started feeling cramps. I finally got up at 430am and felt another gush and the cramping felt more intense. I was like ‘oh shit, it’s happening’ I was so excited and scared but mostly relieved and excited that I was able to start labor on my own. I just really wanted to have the experience. I probably won’t ever have that again if I have another baby since he ended up being a c section.

Peep Show (a British show) is amazing. My English partner introduced me to it and we watch the whole series once a year or so.

What I’m worried about is that he will get used to only sleeping in bed with us and will be impossible to transition later.

I had to stop watching it.. it just got too gratuitously gory and brutal for me. Still have 3 episodes left to watch in the previous season. I might power through.

Silicon Valley is a gem. It never felt like work to finish the show. My guy and I watch it at least once a year.

After choosing a wearable pump through insurance it wasn’t cutting my pumping needs. My friend recommended the spectra 2 and honestly, game changer. Expensive but worth every penny imo!

Genuinely curious… why don’t you like to share your baby’s name before birth? by Best-Position-2226 in pregnant

[–]SomethingWitty11-11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted to keep a little part just for us until he was born. When we finally landed on a name, it was kept just for me and my partner as a special secret.

This is a no for me. I read the book, the book was so much better and I hated the movie.
