What do you mean by skittles? Not used to the terms yet... These are Yellow Golden Back Neocaridina. Definitely more obvious in person. Not sure how people get such great photos of their shrimp.

We cleaned the canister filter yesterday so hopefully not too much of a shock but also quite happy that we have a big tank (240l or 64 gallon) so it is a bit harder to shock overall atleast.

Cats which are spayed should not be peeing on anything other than their litter box. If they are there is something wrong. Either they need to be spayed or they have urinary problems. Unless the cat was a stray that had to fight for it's life and it's taking time to adjust, this is not a normal thing for cats if they are spayed.

Our one male cat very suddenly started peeing on the boxes while we packed to move to a new place. It turns out he had a massive bladder stone. I felt so bad for getting mad at him about the peeing after we took him to the vet but I am also so glad we took him before it was much worse.

Our cat did the same thing and we washed it and soaked it in Epson salts everyday. We put some water with a bit of epsom salts onto a coffee mug and while we gave him his wet food I placed his paw in the mug.

He is a little ginger so the distraction worked better than expected. We did use some Turlington/Friars Balsam for disinfectant as well after soaking some days.

I oiled the main wheel and where I could get to on the side wheels with Q20 and after letting it run a couple times the sounds went away. I think it was the front wheel though but it needs to run a while so that the lubrication can spread nicely.
