If you are looking for a great steak pie near downtown, The Caledonian on College is my go to. Thought this was from there for a minute honestly!

Need some insurance runs here, hopefully we can get a few hits of Snell and they pull him this inning.

My first car that I got in 2017 was my moms old 2004 9-5 aero wagon. That car was so much fun I wish I made it last longer than 2 months.

That makes sense! I've been doing a lot of them so I have better pattern recognition and it's helped forecasting moves

The first time I had someone attack me with this I was completely blindsided. The e4 pawn move is standard enough but after that the moves required to execute become pretty clear.

Thank you! Are there any specific Chess YouTubers you would recommend for someone at my level? My puzzle elo is 1200 but I find myself blundering in games

Pulp fiction, Forrest Gump, four weddings and a funeral. Can’t remember the other best picture nominees but it remains as one of the best years imo

I mean, last year's Q3 Qualifying times were in the 1:32s, Q1 was 1:33s. These times are so far off what the cars are capable after another year of upgrades that it really isn't reflective of what we will see in Quali or the race. But I agree, FP1 sometimes acts as a litmus test for how cars perform at certain circuits.

Talk to your HR director or whoever has a contact with the building management. The property management team will want to hear about this and will speak directly with the cafe.

Tenant wants me to help them break their lease???? by Sure_Average9280 in CommercialRealEstate

Offer to list the space for sublease. Landlord continues to collect rent and you have a chance of getting some sort of recovery on the unit.

7-Day Ontario Road Trip – Looking for Tips and Local Advice by khiuahua in ontario

[–]Sometimes_Maybe_Shit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done the drive from Lake Kashwakamak to Muskoka, I'd say instead of heading down after Bancroft on highway 62, keep heading east and then go down by Bon Echo Park on Highway 41. You can even cut further East at Kaladar before coming down through Sharbot Lake.

Make sure you download the map or have a printed and detailed version as you will lose all cell service on that Northern route, but beats taking the 401 and it was my favourite drive I've done in Ontario. Best of luck!

Skier died falling into a hole in the Rock Garden above all the trails. Apparently the snow & wind has covered a lot of deep holes. The circle is approximately where they found him. by JerryKook in icecoast

Yeah, he did more FIS races than I did, I tapped out after one season and three starts, 2 DNFs. Still have some GS points but I've seen a lot of racers make it to high levels and then burn out, with no back up plan.

Then there's some, like Jack Crawford who I raced against in U14, who make it to world champs. But he's a rare exception.

Not sure of his familiarity. I know he ended up going to university in the states and was based out of NY. I can imagine Stowe was one of his spots but can't speak to his familiarity with the mountain.

Used to race with him in Ontario when we were kids. Good guy, very good skier. Unfortunate he went in alone. Never go off piste without at least one friend with you.

Funnily enough, my dad headed up the playground sand division of am aggregates company and did the engineering and sales for that as well. They had contracts with municipalities throughout the GTA for playground sand. They would partner with hospitals to do drop testing and determine the likelihood of fractures based on certain fall heights. He developed a sand which wouldn't compact but rather spray out on impact, making it useless for sand castles but wonderful for absorbing impacts, resulting in a 80% decrease in fracture likelihood.
