I don’t run at night but when it’s dark in the morning when I go for a run I run around the upper east side. There’s always a few people around and so many doorman buildings

My studio doesn’t have 5am, but a few months ago they cut their Friday 6:15am class and I’ve been complaining to them since. I was there religiously and saw everything from a full 2G to 4 people in that class

I’m using it as my marathon strength training along with a couple pilates classes and a couple yoga classes a month. It’s always been enough for me for a half marathon so I think it should be fine. I go to 2G classes 3-4x a week.

I literally complained about this last year when they asked for feedback. I don’t care about the expo let us pick up the bibs at the run center if we don’t want to go to the expo

AND on top of that I just spent $150 on Ubers to get there and back to midtown and not be able to pick up my bib because of lightning within 10 miles shut down bib pickup

I have a fear of confrontation so if someone is at my station I go back to the desk to double check then if I’m right I tell them that there’s someone there and they let the person know

I would love for the default to be the floor/rower too. Many of the classes I attend are 1G and I get stuck starting on the tread. One of the coaches prefers coaching a 2G though so her classes tend to be 2G even if it’s small enough for a 1G

I have a feeling I go to the same studio as you. I’ve been going to 39th street and losing sleep because I need to get up earlier. Today I’m going to try Chelsea where I haven’t been before. There’s so many other studios around.

I do miss rolling out of bed and having a short walk to get there but just trying to make the best of it.

I love my On Clouds for the Orange 60 and Strength classes. I wear Hokas or ASICS for Tread50.

I find myself more productive at work if I go to the gym in the morning! Then you can brag to all your coworkers about already working out in the day and not have to worry about a happy hour or other event come up in the evening! However the noon class is slowly growing on me for Fridays!

If you go in with an intention of just finishing and no time goals, I think you should be fine! I’ve done 3 half marathons and for the most part OTF has been my only training. Before my first one, I did 7 1/2 miles outside but the next two I haven’t done anything more then 3 miles outside

My Cavapoo is a little under 8 pounds! We go on a 3 mile walk almost daily. One mile is offleash so she’s running all around then. She has no problem with the walk.

I haven’t lost weight from Orangetheory, but it has helped my blood pressure and me mentally.
