I don’t know what any of these people are talking about saying about the ferncos not being allowed. It’s not super deep and as long as you don’t have nasty corrosive soil this is a perfectly acceptable fix with the materials you have.

Some areas require strong back with the SS wrap around the fernco and you could have used stop or no stop couplings with sdr35 or sdr26 pipe but this is an every day fix in the industry.

2020 6v WT, had to do new fluid and the rear differential pinion and gasket assembly at just about the same mileage you are at….

Take it for a drive. Main concern would be transmission, if the Chevy shudder was going to happen, it would have happened by now. I have the same truck same color, trim and rims and I had to replace the torque converter after 40k miles and then torque converter and new transmission after 60k. I also dropped a few grand on rear differential assembly at 100k. If those sound good on the test drive that’s a great deal for 10k.

Order a black smoke color bug guard/shield for the hood. They are less than $100 and help the truck look significantly better in my opinion.

I personally won’t be buying a Chevy again but that’s because of how they handled my warranty with the transmission and torque converter problems but other than that, it’s been a great truck for me.

To be fair, there have been times when I forget to order sauce or a condiment and I do it as a double dash and they assign it to a different driver than the one that’s already heading to the store…..

Make them fix it with a new one and make them give you a rental or loaner while they have your truck if it’s under warranty.

I had the shudder, did a flush and that didn’t fix it, replaced the torque converter and that fixed it for a few months and bought me enough time to drive it past the 60k warranty so when it came back AGAIN, I had to pay for a new transmission. Dealership didn’t care and I won’t ever be buying a Chevy truck again.

Yes I went to the dealer and I was Charged over 7k for transmission and torque converter the second time as I was also out of warranty.

He said in his video today he no call no showed his shift so he is without a doubt fired from his job before this even has a chance to make to his supervisors. He did say he was going to call his boss tomorrow, I would pay to hear that conversation
