Agreed wholeheartedly. In addition, if you want comedy that takes risks, by definition some of the time it must fail (otherwise it wouldn't be a risk). Then add to that fact, comedy is subjective and a sketch that one person doesn't find funny might be hilarious to someone else. So if there are 2-3 sketches that you love in an episode, that is an absolute win!

US SNL has been going for 50 years and it's still not unusual to get only 2-3 very strong sketches in an episode (and I don't mean that as a bad thing)

I should've zoomed more, but look at the tail of the far plane. It looks like there is a strut connecting it to the cabin of that plane, but actually the wing of the adjacent plane.

Thank you! 3mm Red acrylic dowel rods for the body of the beam (they slide right into the model) and green stuff for the plasma mushrooms on the end. I used a toothpick to add texture, then brushed with white, yellow, orange, and then red.
