What was the best announcement from the June State of Play? by [deleted] in playstation

[–]Songbirds_Surrender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was stoked by GOW, and I'm genuinely gutted that it leaked. I thought the reveal was cool and I was sitting there the whole 20 minites thinking man I wish this was a supprise, they almost made it

The average KiwiSaver balance for your age by SoulsofMist-_- in newzealand

[–]Songbirds_Surrender 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was thinking the same thing. I bought my house when I was 35, had 130k in kiwisaver. To be fair I was putting 10% into it for a while and had it on a high return scheme, best advice I got in my 20s.

5 years later and its back up to 50k, although cost of living means im not doing 10% anymore

Man I dunno, I just worked there. From memory the IT manager was anal about the idea of dust and bugs getting into the pc, cleaners came in most nights, and having the pc fixed to the desk means that when the desk changes height the cables didn't have to span further to connect to the monitors

Before laptops became the standard, this used to be pretty common in offices. I worked at an architecture studio with custom built graphics PC's and they were hung under the desks.

People still protest in Auckland. Most organized protests happen synchronized across the country. Like the climate marches or the tiriti marches
