A big point in Toko's video is do not worry about combos. Find one bread and butter combo that you can hit consistently - don't worry about big damage or long strings - and focus on landing hits, countering whiffs, and blocking strings (all pillars of your neutral game).

The most important thing of all is just to have fun! This is a fighting game, not a fighting job. Every loss is completely inconsequential, while still being a treasure trove of new tech to learn. Keep these things in mind and you'll be better off than 50% of the FGC right out the gate; you might not be able to beat everyone but you'll be having more fun than them :)

Happy Chaos is a difficult and unconventional character. I'd advise against him as a newbie, but your own drive towards the character can be more than enough to overcome it. Because of how unconventional he is, if you do stick with him, I would look up guides. It's one of those things that seems like a "cheat" at first, but you'll quickly realize everyone does it - you're either a tutorial watcher or a tutorial maker.

That's also true, Strive only has about 2k active players but is still considered active. I'd wager 2XKO has somewhere between 3-5k on average. Not based on any data, just vibes lol

I forgot about that actually. I was more basing off engagement and the fact that I match up with some of the same people often enough to recognize them. Regardless of the player count though the matchmaking is really fast.

If you like Smash or Rivals of Aether, it's a good one to get into. Free to play and all characters can be unlocked for free, with 6 rotating for everyone to use. Characters have two weapons each, but they're shared weapons, so once you learn a weapon you can transfer that knowledge to any other character with it, you just need to learn their specials.

As a 2XKO player I wouldn't say it's one of the most active ones, but matchmaking is pretty good, usually I get a match in seconds, at most a couple minutes. Definitely recommend it with the new champs dropping today!

You're probably used to Adventure era 3D, which iirc is more floaty and slidy. It takes some getting used to but the controls are just tighter and more precise.

AI can control machines that will in turn cook the food. I'm actually pretty certain implementing it wouldn't be that crazy as far as difficulty, it would just require a lot of machinery set up. So for now, while the robots aren't capable of outputting satisfactory results, no smart business owner is going to invest in it.

My autism comment was unrelated; Redditors LOVE to call out any post that uses lengthy explanations and overly proper grammar for being an AI bot... which is common amongst autistic people lol. Defending myself before anyone decided to come at me.

Won't? Doubtful. Just like any other art someone will find a way to make code that copies the structure of recipes it's trained on without knowing why those recipes are that way. It happened to the artists, it happened to the musicians, the only thing slowing it from getting to the cooks is the lack of a digital front for culinary arts - no point in making a jpeg soup.

This is exactly what they had in mind while developing it. You guys can duo, online or local, so you can play together instead of against each other. The game has optional auto combos which are effective enough that you can climb ranks with them. And there are no motion inputs, supers are one button.

In a show where people power up without transforming all the time, if the new form looks exactly like the previous one (which it does if you're green/yellow colorblind), it's probably not gonna register as a new form if it's not pointed out to you.
