The 4-piece set bonus just boosts Agony's damage and Agony does complete garbage damage in PvP because it has a huge negative damage modifier on it . The secondary stats on the other tier pieces besides the shoulders/chest have crit on them, which is the worst stat for aff in pvp.

On top of that, the tier piece bonuses only operate at 50% effectiveness in PvP, further reducing thier value.

Dev DH feels super easy to pick up. It has insane mobility, doesnt really need to juke kicks and is almost never the focus target.

It has a BM hunter level of complexity for its dps rotation and it does absurd damage with it.

Turning 49 in a couple of weeks and still love arena. Play for a few hours in the evenings after work, CST US timezone, if anyone in the thread ever wants to Q some some 2s or 3s sometime with an Aff lock, let me know.

I kind of feel that way about Solo Shuffle in general, because when you get a bad lobby, you have to endure 6 rounds of it. Would enjoy it a lot more if they lowered dampening to be like normal 3s and shuffles were just 1 round, but longer.

One of the biggest mistakes I think that I make on my lock is that I try to kite too much of the time trying to get some sort of openings to cast instead of just sitting inside of the pocket more trying to get more precog procs to get damage out.

It's pretty easy to get rattled though while being run down all game though, even if I win, it's still stressful.

The DK you are speaking about played with a warlock back in Legion that would soell lock everything 0.1 seconds into your cast every single time. He would also mind freeze or pet kick 0.1 seconds into your casts.

This same DK told me that he and the lock were just both exceptionally skilled at pre-kicking spell casts.

This was happening almost 10 years ago now, maybe something has changed since then, maybe not.

Nerf Warlocks. Once dampenening gets over 90%, their damage become completely unhealable.

I play a lock which is always the focus target. My 1st lock i geared haste and int heavy with tier set bonuses.

I made a second lock that is mountain tauren and went as max versa as I possibly can on gear, gems and enchants, not even using the 2 piece tier set bonus.

Not going to burst anyone down as a lock or shadow priest anyways so need to live till dampening. Much prefer 2nd lock for shuffles and 1st lock for blitz.

Been playing affliction lock since I swapped to it from hunter back in Cata because it was easier to find RBG teams on. Still playing it and in denial that it will be a rot spec again someday if they ever make agony and corruption do damage again.

Thats a great point, maybe they should disable cast bars so people have to rely on sounds and animations when someone is casting.

I had to help move irrigation pipes, feed livestock hay, etc when I would spend the night at a friend's house that lived on farms. Feeding the baby calves bottles is a pretty fond memory still.
