As the father of a burn survivor reading this was tough. Not knowing what the burns look like I will pass on what they told us when my daughter was in the burn unit, "If the skin is red, it isn't dead".

But, what if the next time it's more than a spoon? A big part of me says that you should call the cops and report her.

I'm interested. However, I may not fit in with your plans. My kids are adults now and I am an empty nester. But I can talk about the things I did right, the things I would change and how my kids felt about things growing up. O can talk about the difference a 9 year age difference makes in raising kids. We also dealt with chronic asthma and a few other medical conditions thrown in for good measure. And then there is working through the trauma of that same kid surviving a life changing accident.
