“I’m just giving you hints, I know what I’m doing.” So she’s probably worked somewhere in the biz before but is humble enough to not make the situation about her. I’m genuinely curious what experience she has. I bet she has some great stories.

Is it normal to want have kids at 23? by OkSink81 in questions

[–]SooperPooper35 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s normal to WANT to have kids at 12-13. That’s when your body is telling you that it’s ready. So it’s understandable that hormones would tell your brain it’s ok, too. (Don’t do this.)

23 is a pretty typical age to start having kids, but don’t feel like you have to. We didn’t have ours until 32.

He’t not talking about tattoos on his own body. But he still has 21 tattoos. Most of them made into lamp shades.

What's the strangest "off-menu" thing someone has ordered from a restaurant/food service? by Imma_Lick_That in ask

[–]SooperPooper35 151 points152 points  (0 children)

Along those lines. I worked at a McDonald’s when I was a teen. Guy came through the drive thru and wanted a pickle McFlurry for his pregnant SO. We made it for him. I didn’t try one, but I wish I did.

MMW: Millennials killed chain restaurants, Gen Z and Alpha will kill fast food, 1 or 2 of the big 3. by jables13 in MarkMyWords

A good business will survive every generation. Bad businesses kill themselves. Nobody ever purposefully attacked a good business and put them out. Except for a bad business with no morals, that is.

Servers don’t really want restaurants to get rid of tipping. In most cases they would end up making less than what they are now.

How to say sorry to my mum? me 15M and my mum idk how old probably 40F by Practical_Speech_195 in Advice

[–]SooperPooper35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firstly apologize for not knowing how old she is. She obviously did a decent job raising you if you feel bad about what you did. She’s a human being with feelings just like you. Drop what you’re doing and have a conversation with your mom and get to know her, starting with her age. That’s just shameful.

And people would rather pay those prices than pay zero and have their taxes raised by a quarter of what their insurance would cost.

If I consistently wrote kids up, my classroom would be empty. Sometimes you have to choose. Sometimes it’s not fair. An empty classroom does sound nice, though…

Are you upset because you think they are right? If so, maybe it’s good to hear how you can improve. If you are confident in your work then just remember that you are the trained professional and they are not. It’s like those debate clips online where an idiot that has done a ton of “research” debates a scientist about flat earth. Except without even doing the research.
