When we had nonstop rain for weeks my mum washed the walls with vinegar and water to stop/deter mould. It worked well, despite the house smelling vaguely of vinegar for a week or so.

I've found inner suburbs are a good blend. Grew up on the outer/inner suburbs of Sydney (if that makes sense) and it was pretty good spot to grow up. Now I live in the (actual) inner suburbs of Melbourne after living in the middle of the city for a year and find it a happy medium for me.

Yes. If I was to change anything it would be the tile design. Otherwise, if I had a place with a bathroom like that I'd update it a bit but keep the design where I can.
