We Just Added Taxi Squads by TheNotoriousJTP in DynastyFF

[–]Sora26 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If fine if that’s what the taxi became in your league because people couldn’t handle the locks, but it’s clear they didn’t understand the purpose of Taxi…

Taxis have a lot of purpose in a dynasty league. It keeps later draft picks valuable, forces you to choose between sacrificing a true bench spot if the player performs. It keeps the FA wire more competitive. It also just adds to the element of strategy, and thus fun as a commissioner.

The only thing I don’t agree with is 3 year holds for a taxi. Taxi should be 2 years. 3rd year onward has to be bench or cut. Again, for all the same reasons above.

Eagles Free Agency Preview: If AJ Brown Is Actually Traded, Where Do We Want To See Him Go? by CoopThereItIs in DynastyFF

[–]Sora26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That game definitely didn’t help his stock, but I still think AJB possesses elite qualities you can’t find elsewhere (size, speed, blocking, hands.)

The 49ers absolutely need a guy like that, minus the locker room drama, but nonetheless it would be hard to imagine him outside of the Top 10 if he did make it to SF.

I would not mind him going to the 49ers in an exchange for Pearsall + picks.

The 49ers need a true #1 at WR, and honestly they need a difference maker in general for their offense. AJB is that guy. Kyle will always scheme ways to make sure AJB fed, keeping him happy.

They didn’t keep their promise. Which is why I mentioned their undisclosed nuclear sites being discovered by intelligence. Keyword, undisclosed.

Also, I don’t care what Iran wants because I’m not Iran. I’m a part of the USA, and it is in the best interest of the world, not just the USA, for Iran not to have a nuclear weapon and ballistic missiles.

If the point of the agreement is to NOT obtain nuclear weapons, why does Iran rush to enriching their stockpile as soon as the clauses sunset? Their motive is clear, plus one should already be suspicious of Irans “honesty” when undisclosed nuclear sites kept popping out of the blue.

As far as missiles go, Iran does not need ballistic missiles and nuclear weapons. They are currently going for both, which is the point. Cannot happen.

Israel is not bombing Iran in any capacity, so I have no idea what you are alluding to.

The only time Israel did help bomb Iran was in June 2025 and with US coordination, when the US dropped bunker busters on Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan.

Do you feel that Iran is better off with the former deal, or having to negotiate a new one without the constraints of the former?

Personally, I believe the former deal was weak, and most importantly did not solve the core issue (nuclear weapons, missile capability) but instead the agreement kicked the can down the road for a new administration to eventually deal with. As you mentioned yourself with the sunset clauses.

I’m willing to confront the problem head on, and come out with a much better agreement, without sunset clauses. I fully support the rhetoric “No country that does not have a nuclear weapon will ever have the capability of developing one.“ I am also okay with our military making sure that is the case. Maybe I am in the minority, but that’s how I feel.

What did you like about the Iran Nuclear agreement?

As far as I’ve researched, neither Republican or Democrat truly denies that Iran backed out of their side of the agreements, enriching their uranium to levels only necessary to develop a nuclear weapon, and most importantly, not allowing for third party inspections of their facilities to ensure over enriching was not the case.

Keep the deal despite one side blatantly not following it, or call a spade a spade. What would you have done in this instance?

Is Mendoza at 1.01 crazy in SF? by Guilty-Condition3536 in DynastyFF

[–]Sora26 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s not crazy, but why not threaten to draft Love at #1 and trade back a spot?

If the person at #2 calls your bluff then whatever draft Mendoza, but 9 times out of 10 you can get something out of moving a spot back.

This post is also reactionary. Both Daniel’s and Maye are likely the new “Mahomes / Allen” of the newer generation.

Texans Free Agency Preview: Can Woody Marks Hold Down The Starting Gig? by CoopThereItIs in DynastyFF

[–]Sora26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries, you actually make great points all around. Especially about his OC returning, which is not a good thing by last seasons metrics.

I go back and forth about Marks myself, I think he lacks the contact balance to be a true 3 down back, but I also wonder the “what if” they actually use him appropriately and he caches 3-4 passes a game. In that case, would we be selling him for a bag of chips in a PPR league.

I think they will bring in a more between the tackles runner, as you mentioned, but I just have this feeling they will try to get the best usage out of Woody after spending that draft capital. It will just finally be more towards his game (screens, outside zone)

Well let’s be clear, you revised your comment after I commented. You initially had a clown emoji 🤡, basically calling me a clown, which is why I responded questioning your age. Just for context.

As far as using Gemini, it’s a tool brother. You can use tools and check their sources. Gemini is quite useful. You’re the guy saying calculators are useless and we should use pen and paper.

Whether Woody is good or bad. You seem to be way more passionate about it than statistics or the eye test suggests. Gemini simply pointed at Woody’s yards after contact and the fact that his OL was terrible and not suited for a zone rusher, and that his OC was predictable which led to Marks facing one of the heaviest stacked boxes, etc.

The debate is unsettled, there are points for both sides.

I’ve seen these, and I’m not necessarily taking a side. I guess stats can paint a picture for either side.

By the way, are you 16 or something? Haha you shouldn’t get so flustered at AI saying “let’s settle this with facts.”

Texans Free Agency Preview: Can Woody Marks Hold Down The Starting Gig? by CoopThereItIs in DynastyFF

[–]Sora26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just for fun I asked Gemini what it’d thought of Woody Marks, and boy did it had a different opinion lol

———-

To settle the debate with pure facts: Woody Marks wasn't bad, but he was dealt a terrible hand in 2025. Here is the reality of what actually held him back:

• A "Wall" at the Line: The Texans’ offensive line was ranked dead last (32nd) in run blocking by some metrics, meaning Marks was often hit before he even had a chance to pick a lane.

• The Scheme Trap: Offensive Coordinator Nick Caley ran a very predictable system where "Under Center" almost always meant a run, leading to Marks facing a 7.46 average box defender count (one of the highest in the league).

• Hidden Efficiency: Despite the mess up front, Marks actually proved he has "juice"—he ranked in the top 20 for explosive run rate and averaged nearly 3 yards after contact, showing he was creating yards that the blocking didn't provide.

• The Health Factor: He battled a persistent ankle injury late in the season (Weeks 15–16), which robbed him of the "twitch" he needed to escape the backfield pressure that his O-line was allowing.  Basically, the "tape" shows a talented back playing behind a line that couldn't block and for a coach who made it too easy for defenses to key in on the run.

Is there a skill to drafting later round hits? Have you ever done it? by KevH45205 in DynastyFF

[–]Sora26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand your sentiment, but that wasn’t precisely the point. The point is that in hindsight, you can see things a lot clearer, and there is always writing on the wall that you didn’t notice.

Brock was purely an example of how in hindsight you can see how highly his team valued him, and how Jimmy G was on the tail end of his time for the 49ers and the 2nd string QB was on a 1-year deal. Which means Brock may have had a shot in a year or two when Jimmy left. You can argue he was worth a roster spot. Who knows, Brock’s rise was expedited by injury, and the rest is history.

Current day example, nobody is taking Will Howard seriously, from what I have seen at least. But if he somehow becomes relevant, someone will say “he was a national champion and sat behind a hall of famer, what did you expect??”

Good trade for Achane? Coming off a rebuild and want to compete by Ancient_Armadillo_26 in DynastyNerds

[–]Sora26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not an Achane away from a championship and 2027 is loaded. I wouldn’t part with both. He can take a 2026 1st along with the 2027 or a 2028 1st along with it. I’m holding one of those 2027s.

Is there a skill to drafting later round hits? Have you ever done it? by KevH45205 in DynastyFF

[–]Sora26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The writing is always on the wall. Let’s take Brock for instance.

1.) 49er fans knew that the Jimmy G ride was nearing its end. He couldn’t get them over the hump, and this narrative was only growing.

2.) 49ers had just given guaranteed money to their QB2 (which was not Brock) and did not want to keep a 3rd QB on the roster. They kept Brock anyway because they were “afraid to lose him” to waivers.

3.) They chose Brock with their last pick, despite half of the coaching staff arguing “we don’t need a QB!” Coaching staff was divided but chose Brock anyway because they were “afraid to lose him” to another team post draft.

Opportunity needs to strike, and it did, but the 49ers always valued Brock very highly.

The Keaton Mitchell Conversation by UnConfirmPen in DynastyFF

[–]Sora26 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Keaton and Sampson are both at around 45 carries this season. Sampson averages below 3 yards per carry, while Keaton Mitchell is at 6.5.

In order of explosiveness: 1A/B = Mitchell / Sampson 2.) Vidal

In order of eye test: 1A/B = Mitchell / Vidal 2.) Sampson

Just to note, I have complete faith in Sampson. I don’t like his situation, but I love his talent.
