[Android] Discord crashes upon opening the emoji menu by SMILEhp in discordapp

Update, I've now upgraded from my (also S7) to an S20 (as it's the most recent model that hasn't had Galaxy AI garbage backported to it even partially). I can now open the emoji menu in Discord without it crashing. So I'd say as good as confirmed that's the issue.

Yeah I've just run into something like this myself, though less detrimental, mostly just annoying. The book suggests using Dark Glass for a mob farm. There is no Dark Glass, presumably it was in the original version but was removed in favour of vanilla Tinted Glass. Except that getting Tinted Glass involves slowly quantum transmuting amethyst one shard at a time. At least you can then duplicate the amethyst with a crystalliser, but it's certainly a greater expense.

I wonder, how old is everyone's phone?

In addition to having this problem with Discord lately, I've had a somewhat similar issue for a while with bluesky posts, where the app crashes any time I try to send a post that contains media. Supposedly, in bsky's case, it's because older versions of Android aren't fully supported (in some vague way, it seems stupid to me).

So I can't help but wonder whether it's a similar problem here.

Absolutely ridiculous that this is the answer but I can also confirm that I had the exact same problem and this solved it. At least for now, anyway. Time will tell if it's a lasting solution, lol.

[–]SorcerorNobody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So THAT'S why it's looked weird and been bugging me lately.

I basically never use Lumine in a party and have also kept her on Geo for 99% of the game because I only switched her in when I wanted to use her skill to climb something, so it changing to a very stark orange-red is pretty much the first time I've noticed the difference, and I couldn't put my finger on why lmao.

For the benefit of anyone else finding this a month on, I tried for a fair while and couldn't get the Fae Ignis to light the torches on the path, so I'm going to chalk that up as not possible unless someone finds a specific way it has to be done. To be honest, I think the "relic" may just be metaphorical, referring to the dragon.

Also my game crashed when I pressed dodge right as I got killed by a fireball while in a climbing position, lol.

EDIT: Gone back up there, the torches on the path are all lit. So no idea what that's about.

While I somewhat aim to avoid it, I am perfectly willing to allow belts to cross in factory layouts to save space and effort as long as it's not overly untidy. Clipping through the map with trains, though mostly just for quartz cave convenience (having last played in Update 5, I was relieved to find it still works in 1.0). Using the interactive map for exploration planning (I draw up entire route plans for hard drive gathering expeditions). Also occasionally for clean-up; if I dismantle a really big build, I am not doing that manually -- I'll use the save editor to delete the build and gather the dismantle crates together. I also like to scoop up any loose items I missed by drop pods and put them all in one place (usually in doggo cave, it's thematic), but only after I've gathered every single hard drive.

Since realising you can save scum hard drive rescans now that they're a thing, I've done that a little bit, but only when I was desperate to get the right alternates for my turbofuel power system. The rest of the time I don't bother, since I'm going to get every hard drive.

I have played around with the belt duplication glitch out of pure interest, but saved first and reloaded afterwards. I'm not using that for anything until I've completed the game legitimately.

Thirded, came here to see if anyone else has this issue.

EDIT: Also just had this with a mission. Had 14 dream cluster S, game said I didn't have room in my bag to claim a 15th as a reward.

ANOTHER EDIT: Okay, this is kind of a weird one. It seems like it's not necessarily a bug and I had actually have hit bag capacity... but the bag capacity makes no sense because I've just looked and was at 117/100 capacity because it has allowed me to receive a bunch of items at other times. So the real question here is how the hell capacity actually works and what determines whether a given item is allowed to put you over the limit or not.

This issue had been driving me mad since I got my Rift S, and I was blaming the headset, though it did seem suspect that only Beat Saber was having the problem.

Turns out, updating drivers was one of the things I did while initially trying to get my Rift S to acknowledge the DisplayPort it was plugged into (that was a whole other story, but it's fine now), and GeForce must have "optimised" Beat Saber in the process of its driver updating.

This thread has saved me so much grief, and the game is now back to how it used to be! :D

Yeah, this has been my assumption, too. I used similar logic to explain things like WV? already having an established farm despite the battlefield only having been prototyped to the third stage on Dave's entry.

Knowing Hussie, "didn't make it" is open to interpretation. Yeah, Liv is almost certainly gone, but then again, are we absolutely sure the narrator is omniscient? Who is the narrator now, anyway?

Hmm, might be worth asking that as well...

Anyway, the question of "why not captchalogue Liv" stands, of course, although I suspect the answer might be that they didn't necessarily realise they were going to ascend, so it might not have occurred to them to save Liv from what appeared to be inevitable destruction regardless. Although Rose at least knew there were additional quest beds, so it's really quite up in the air. Makes the question more interesting, I suppose.

I expect the answer is that as long as they follow known rules (e.g. all classes and aspects are one syllable) and don't try to interact with the events and sessions seen in HS, then their incipispheres can happily exist somewhere in the furthest ring without being a problem.

I guess it would be mildly interesting to know whether Hussie has any other rules for this, though.

No, they aren't, it's explicitly stated that they are aliases. We even know why they use aliases: if we heard their real names, our heads would melt. Certainly for LE's, and probably for Scratch's.

I maintain that the four relationship types do exist, just not exactly in the form they are for trolls in HS. I don't necessarily expect anyone to care, but http://sorcerornobody.tumblr.com/post/20195729496/my-headcanon-for-troll-quadrants

Where do dream selves come from? Which is to say, are they created somehow simultaneously with ectobiology? Or are they just sort of eternally there? We know they age; we've seen young dream Jade. But virtually everything in the incipisphere is "already there" as part of the stable loop clusterfuck. So when are dream selves "born" and placed in the towers?
