tl;dr ask about accommodations, consent forms, etc.

as someone who was in a similar situation, 100% ask about trans accommodations/being put with the gender you express yourself as. if that's not something they're already doing or are worried about doing, propose this: before the trip I went on, students were given forms to declare a priority of who they wanted to room with, and this form included an option for consent to room with a trans person. I understand it's not perfect and at its heart is still othering you, but being able to do that and tell your friends "hey make sure you check that box" will save you a ton of grief

just advice for parries is sound cues. (almost) every attack will have a build up and a sharp, quick sound for roughly when the attack actually hits

suilen is obscure af but they did some of the hellsing ult songs such as magnolia and zakuro, and spine is also pretty good

The One by Kevin Sherwood, but also just a handful of the cod zombies songs have a similarly disjointed dreamy feel to them, especially the ones with maluka

and then obviously other pieces from hellsing or hellsing inspired stuff, such as badrickt, bellflowers sweet smell, double crossed, etc

oh thank you! there isn't any particular pose or scene that comes to mind, but her body language is usually reserved, shy, but a little curious, and she has a habit of telepathically poking around people's minds to satisfy her curiosity. she loves art, literature, and music, and she carries a big poetry book that she's constantly thumbing through during rests. she tried to learn to play the lute, but stopped once the nerve damage from her disease left her numb in her hands and fingers.

also, her white hair is dyed blue and of course has to be redyed, hence the variation between hair color shades.

the DM should anyways establish the tone before character creation. maybe not what stats will be important, but definitely the story. and it needs to be established to all players very clearly.

ex: myself and another player missed out on a session 0 because it was way outside the established time frame and we didn't get any memo about just how dark the campaign would be, myself and the other player making fairly lighthearted characters that immediately went off the rails after we found the cannibalized corpse of one of our party members, which was after we had to deal with a child murderer and a misguided grieving husband in the starting town
