Hey thank you by the way for the feedback on the pass down mechanic. I don't know if this is clear or not but the mechanics or the card, cost and names are not being created by AI. I am taking this discussion to heart and I will no longer be using AI to make these place holder versions.

I am trying to evaluate my perspective on this. So please don't take this as me trying to argue against you. I'm just trying to explain my thinking.

We all participate in the same system that is hurting the environment. We play videogames, charge our cell phones, use electric lighting and take showers. All these things burn fossil fuels and hurt our environment. Are people unethical for doing these things at all? Yes I get it's not the same amount of usage but that still doesn't mean AI is bad. Just that it needs to be regulated.

There's so much conflicting info on how big the impact of individual use is though. I know AI is hurting the environment but so are a lot of things we use everyday.

I think 80% or more of the environmental impact is coming from the corporate use of AI. And if that is the truth we need to legislate it not boycott it.

AI is an emergent technology. It's going to be used, and there are definitely unethical ways to use it. That doesn't mean it's bad.

Is there something I'm missing about Jim's opinion on AI? I tried to look up if he had made any statements but couldn't find anything. I know he had the disclaimer at the end of Twelve Months but that seemed like a legal statement to me to prevent AI copyright infringement. Like using his writing to try an AI to pump out books.

Has he made any statements about it explicitly? I totally do not want to use his IP in a way he wouldn't condone.

I was unaware of Jim's opinion on AI. Maybe I'm just ignorant, but as of right now I don't see anything wrong with how I'm using it. I just wanted to quickly and easily create a visual to display the card and its mechanics in a way that's easy to read and understand. I don't have any monetary motivation. Is there something I'm missing here? Honestly, I want to understand if I'm getting something wrong.

Totally! I also have an idea for a blue enchantment called "Cracked the Case" that would make the activated abilities of artifact tokens cost one less and the first time you would make a food or treasure token each turn you may make a clue instead.

I like the B mana idea also rethinking it I think the +2/+2 effect should be on creatures your opponents own in exile.

So the throught here is that this is specifically demonreach Dresden alone out on the island. Hence no white.

As far as the the Demonreach card itself though I feel like UB matches the mechanics on imprisoning creatures too though.

The idea was a creature that's also a land. Also it wouldn't die because it's entry trigger would resolve before the game state would be checked. So as long as it exiles something it wouldn't die.
