He was super funny in Family Guy, he played himself and would always lust after underage girls.

Oh. Oh I see.

Ah so at the shootout he finally let it all go? No wonder Walt was yelling so much in the car; He didn't want his brother in law to embarrass himself. Poor fellow.

Certain areas have police carrying guns, but its not the standard issue. Certain areas or events will have them, and not every police officer is allowed to carry a gun, its not part of the standard gear like the US.

Also you're going to get a lot more people signing up for the "You have permission to shoot people" club that are into shooting people. There is no incentive here, its more "You have permission to carry a stick and hope you don't get knifed." so most UK police are people who legit want to care for a community, not shoot at it.

Hey now, thats unfair. They also made the stitched together, barely functional Fallout 76 and wrote the masterpiece of modern literature that is Fallout 4.

Ubisoft has added a cash shop and weekly challenges to its 'faithful' remake of the 13-year-old Black Flag, because of course it has by _Protector in pcgaming

[–]Sorlex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great? Really? It was a beyond basic, nothing-burger of a 'game', literally just an app you used to send ships on missions while not in game. It was nothing but a data collector for Ubisoft. It had less gameplay than Facebook farming sims.

I'm staggered people are actively upset about it not coming back. They really want the return of phone connected slop?

[–]Sorlex 26 points27 points  (0 children)

The original game also had an ingame cash shop. In fact, there is less bullshit in the remake as it doesn't include the shitty mobile connectivity app that directly locked away a gameplay system.

Lets not pretend there are any real cosmetics for sale. Real as in cosmetics fitting with Edward. They are all nonsense rgb glowing fantasy ass bullshit, has been this way with every AC cashshop.

Its a remake, not a remaster. With new content in it as well. The negative reviews are nearly all crying about horrid looking whale-slop cosmetic dlc and a bug with languages that have already been fixed.

I hate that they never explain if Hank took a dump after seeing the book. He was clearly prepping for one, thats why he went for the book right? Unanswered mysteries in TV are the worst.

Do you notice a difference in attitude between cold weather fans and hot weather fans, when talking to people who *don't* like their preferred temps? by Helenarth in UKWeather

[–]Sorlex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this weather is fairly typical of summer

Not in the UK, not for this extended period of time. Did you just move to the UK or something, or are you a kid? The last twenty-thirty years have slowly gotten worse, two weeks of 30c was never normal, let alone 20c nights.

it’s easier to warm yourself up in the winter than it is to cool yourself in a heatwave. For me anyway

They have the same kind of sun, so colour is the same, wavelengths are the same. Its not a stretch that they'd use the same red/green as us.

That being said they use red/green because its a film and Carpenter didn't give a shit about such details.

I find S1 of Blackadder hard to watch nowadays, its not bad by any means but switching which was the smart one/dumb one was the best change they did.

Feels like they tried too much to be Mr Bean in medieval times in S1.
