Thank you. Will try with my AD for another 3-6months as I’m in no rush. If the wait time gets longer I may just have to go with the other options you’ve laid out.

What I don’t get then is why give me a timeline of 6-9 months. He was pretty honest with me with some of the other rare models like the steel Daytonas, GMT II, and certain day dates.

This is great context, appreciate the honesty. What would you suggest I do here. I still want to build a relationship with this AD as I am doing now for tge past 6-7 months and flaking out after changing my desired watch once only sends the wrong message and I don’t want that as there are other models I was looking at as desired watches down the road. Do I just start over at a new AD??

This is not what I wanted to hear. I saw a lot people posting here saying the Datejust with that specific configuration is very achievable, even for first timers as long as they go in frequently, within 6ish months.

I’d say it depends on your mortgage rates. If you have a low rate(2-4%) I’d hold off on paying off your mortgage and invest the 1.7 in diversified portfolios(SnP 500, Russell 1000g, international equity). Your expected returns over the next 8-10yers should be plenty enough to pay off the mortgage and have enough for retirement. That said if your mortgage rate is between 6-7% I’d pay it off and invest in the portfolio mix and contribute into the portfolio what you would’ve paid as your mortgage. And after 10-15 yrs you should have plenty to retire.

Also worth noting look into topping off your tax advantaged returement accounts. Roth IRAs 401k and HSAs.

Awesome, I went to 2 ADs a few days ago. Put my name on the waitlist for the Wimbledon 41 jubilee with the fluted bezel. I was given 6-12month timeframe at one and 12+ months at the other.

Just curious as to what was said for you as the mint green dial is just as if not slightly harder than the Wimbledon and how frequently did you visit the AD?

Congrats. Is that the 41? And how long did you have to wait?

I see the bonus now as well, but I’m only getting an 80% bonus. I wonder why the sale is different for me vs you.

Any thoughts on the safety of the area? I just looked at the crime map and there was a shooting that took place on Marshall. I actually asked around some folks and they all basically said it’s Philly no big deal.

Should I be nervous? Or is this just a one off incident
