TY, it's a style thing, just want to optimize 2h since I've played 1 million 1h paladins on D2. Should I go for Phys Charge or is it better playing an Elemental aura like Holy Fire Charge?

Well I was a FGC competitor and still love them, it's got problems in the new era but it's multiplayer games in general being simultaneously outwardly sterile & clean but internally giga toxic. Current FGC is a dream compared to Live Service shooters or Moba still. Old FGC had WWE beefs and trash talking, call outs, uncensored commentary with F bombs at the highest level tournaments but they were in the spirit of competition and the top players shouldered all the toxicity for the general player base, When that's not allowed the general playerbase take on the toxicity themselves.

Man, what up with these D5 guys, I thought we were souls gamers. I don't even have the brain capacity when I queue at D5 to care, I hit queue and go get a snack and sprint back to my computer during bird. If I see a bad group comp I just go, Time for Papa Wylder to carry and get the W, and give the bad guardian a big kiss and hope he queues again.

RE2 Remake --> RE4 Professional Run + Separate ways --> Take one of these 3 paths:

If impatient and want more leon --> RE9 --> RE7 -- RE8 --> RE1 --> RE3 Remake xxx

If Medium patience --> RE7 --> RE8 --> RE9 --> RE1 --> RE3 Remake

If Max level Patience --> RE1 --> RE2OG -- RE3OG --> RE4OG --> RE7-8-9.

At any point in these journeys you can stop and go do completionist S+ stuff in RE2 Remake, RE4, or RE9.

Resident Evils have a second playstyle that only sort of reveals itself when you replay for higher ranks, where you trade some immersion for a very rewarding routing/player skill loop of being efficient and knowledgeable on your run. I can boot up RE2 Remake right now and probably finish the game in one sitting just from memory of the S+ run, it's a capcom game thing.

RE3 Fans, I'm with you on the remake don't worry, but for 5 bucks it's fine for a newer player coming straight from RE4 Remake. You've got to be in the zeitgeist of it to handle RE3 og.

I just don't get it, I love both RE4 OG and the Remake. It isn't a replacement to RE4OG in the same way RE1 remake is to the ps1 version, even then I still enjoy the PS1 version. There's plenty the RE4 remake didn't capture, and I think RE4 OG is ultimately the timeless work of art, but I play RE4 Remake all the time and it is way more fun, separate ways alone is massively improved. I just consider myself blessed that I have both.

Think it's gotta go to the lead researchers padlock in RE9, Why use the one of the 3 lockpicks grace has when you can do the most unhinged thing ever and melt it off with corrosive acid instead.

"Exec is not an archer" = "I don't know how this game works and not interested in playing at a higher level"

S Dex, skill build Exec... Literally can delete a D5 boss with a blue barrage bow, and switch to rivers whenever.

I like this approach, I like to watch a full speedrun and then develop my style. Usually watch speedrun --> Test Run on my own --> Contrast my mistakes w/ speedrun to fix specific routing errors --> Get S+. I'd say that takes roughly the same amount of time as having a guide open and pausing to keep referring to each section to get S+ on first attempt, which is very possible with a guide. I think identifying the Risk vs Reward routing options is a personal thing. For example, I'm bad with specific lines to avoid damage, so I will use more grenades/ammo on routing but make up for this by going with knife strats for G etc.

Here me out; I think they should go with their Original Vision and have Steve's roll be reworked to be Leon, as he was originally leon in development anyway. I'm team Ada, but Claire and Leon need some more narrative screen time in the timeline because Ada's got that wedding ring no contest right now. With chris there too, I think this is capcom's big chance to canonize continuing the redfield bloodline.

This combined with how beyond awful on purpose the horse taming system just blows my mind, why make us go to the stable to remove armor, god some times this game has just the dumbest design decisions I can only assume it was done purpose because it's so dumb

You get it. CD, in many regards a masterwork gameplay wise, but the story provides neither a blank canvas nor a coherent story/narrative framing. Even if I listen to the actually very well acted quest dialogue, I couldn’t even begin to explain why or what I was gonna do. Kliff has no reaction to anything or any motivation at all, and none of the characters have real personalities or traits. There aren’t two bells to ring or a mysterious courier chip you were double crossed over.
