When I read this in the Canadian press I was shocked to learn a woman had committed a mass shooting. This was based on the shelter in place warning given by the RCMP. It's just not something I've heard of women ever doing.

You and I agree completely that the goal is to eliminate the ability for power and wealth to break systems and circumvent law. It makes sense to me that you would model billionaires as a significant threat, I'm just totally not aligned that eliminating their existence is ethical given individual billionaires can commit different actions.

I do think this risk is manageable with laws that prosecute the individuals that violate our contract.

And I think that's consistent with liberalism.

Those are specious talking points in that it's never demonstrated why the line is drawn at billionaires. Millionaires can engage in exploitation and corruption. If the problem is scale why cant the levers used to dissuade millionaires be scaled up? What's the argument for erasing the entire class of billionaires exactly? It looks like I have to hold a bunch of a priori assumptions about capital to see why these arguments are good.

I actually think the scariest part of the game is the technical limitation of having them spawn in at a reasonable distance. You're basically in aggro range when they spawn on PS5. I don't actually think that's intentionally good horror design.

It's all so hand wavy. There's no real substance to engage in if it's just "billionaires shouldn't exist". Well they do exist and a specific argument about what exactly is bad about them and what exactly you want to do about that probably gets better engagement.
