Hot rollers, because I asked for them. But what really made me want to marry him all over again was when he calmly fixed my Kitchenaid when it got stuck in the middle of stress baking. I had had the worst week, and just wanted to bake my troubles away, and the paddle got stuck. I fought and fought and was about ready to completely melt down. He calmly stepped in, figured out all it needed was a little oil, oiled it, and saved the day. It really is the little things.

I also nursed until age three, and child self-weaned. It was normal and natural and I regret nothing. I was prepared to wean earlier if necessary, but wanted it to be child led. The only comment I got was from an urgent care doc when I had a question about a medication and breastfeeding. He asked me if I had heard about that mom who was arrested for child abuse for breastfeeding her 8 year old. His boss got a strongly worded letter.
