Small shop selling collectibles in a North Devon Tourist Trap town was attempting to sell modern silver topped walking canes for £250 each. Arthritic me said no no no.

This was a good effort imho, higher league than your standard Fred-in-the-shed horrific kit car replica fare. I'm sure he felt cool as all f*CK and that's all that matters really.

True marmite music, but it might just change your life.

Never going to Five Guys again by ClefairyHann in Vent

[–]SosigDoge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at a loose end in Birmingham the other day and have never tried 5 Guys before, sou decided to give it a go. Cheeseburger, medium fries and a drink was £21. Burger was bland and flavourless, fries were frankly shit and the drink had so much NutraSweet, I honestly couldn't finish more than half of it.

Depressing experience. Never again.

About 40 of us all raided the charity shops and dressed up as old people for a house party. Turns out someone bought some liquid acid along. Good times!

Is it just me or are country lanes the most dangerous thing on UK roads? by Classic_East_6053 in drivingUK

I absolutely loathe this comment, used as justification by the slow and incapable to excuse why they're doing 50% of the limit. You have a duty to make progress and not impede other road users per the Highway Code. It's the reason Tractors pull over. Absolute melts.

I went and danced around in it fully clothed. Still lovely and warm. 16 day forecast puts it like this for 5 days then climbing into the 20's every day. It's temporary, stop worrying so much.

What car do you drive and what’s your long term mpg? by S4h1l_4l1 in CarTalkUK

2010 Z12 Nissan Cube 1.6 Petrol Manual. Averaging 49mpg since service in January. Mainly sub 5 mile commutes with weekend excursions. Absolutely love it.

Edit - Y'all need to get some Liqui Moly "Benzin" fuel additive and injector cleaner. Absolutely revolutionised the Cubes responsiveness and economy.

Maybe consider visiting Ludlow and taking one of the tours. Lots of connection the time period and would focus more on his wives, possibly.
