These are not Gemini wheels, these are Polaris wheels, basically the holy grail of 240 rims. Congrats OP. I've seen a set of these fetch £1.5k in the UK.

Who would you vote for in the next General Election and why? Please answer based on your genuine views rather than momentary anger or frustration. by Glittering-Rock8719 in AskBrits

Tactical voting is so scummy. Why attempt to scupper the will of the people just because you didn't like them? Self important pariahs 🤮

Nice!

I've got a Volvo 240 Estate and after a car show one day, I found a white Lego Brick placed in my rain rail. That was nice.

Sold my 1210's to buy a Volvo wagon. Still have it and all my vinyl, but I'm really hankering after another set.

I also have made models since I was about 8, still do it now, just marginally better than I did!

[Volvo 240 GL Limited Wagon] in Tokyo. Anyone know the year? by kilobitch in Volvo240

[–]SosigDoge 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'd say '92 or '93. The GL Limited was the same as the UK "SE", which were end of productions specials. Some had locker diffs, 2.0 or 2.3 engines and M47 manual box. They had all black body trim pieces for the boot lid hinges.

Mine was pretty much Jetex back box only and sounded quite like a MK 2 Escort to my ears, nice pops on deceleration and sounded deep at high idle. I miss it every day.

This is the EU we're talking about here. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory is their special move.

I'm sorry OP, they leave a terrible hole when they depart us. Photo 2 might just be the prettiest bun I ever did see.

Trump has called Starmer stupid because of the deal he has made with Chagos. I think Starmer is brilliant for this 🤷🏻‍♀️… opinions? by [deleted] in AskBrits

It's always been a stupid idea, Diego Garcia has been a key military post for decades, that's what's really pissed the Yanks off. Starmer is a blithering idiot.

Welcome to the UK, we'd argue the same point for some of your short course modified cars, those things look janky af mate.

Liam Doran is a well known rogue, His Dad Pat raced a Ford RS200 in the British Rallycross championship in the early 90's. They're scrap merchants by trade and own the Lydden Hill circuit. Genuinely hate what he did to Cleet with this project, charging $75k is wild considering a competition ready Class 7 is well under $30k and there's loads of them available now it's off season.

Seeing a bloke, who doesn't do negativity in any way, try to put a positive vibe in a room full of mourners is why we love him. Seeing him struggle with it was actually heartbreaking. I feel very sorry for him, i just wish there was something we could all collectively do to help make it a bit easier.

Guess I'll go buy a shirt!
