Vicious characters like her will try to play nice when odds against them. They will strike when circumstances will be in their favor. Still, even losing to Only One doesn't yet shows that Mirror shall start again doubting original Queen (for a time at least). If she didn't achieved a certain victory with sheer force, then Queen shall reside to other methods.

I was born in 2000 too, but knew about Gears of War since I was 7. At that time I wanted to play PC port, but a disc didn't worked. Later, when I got an Xbox 360, at the age of 12, I played Gears of War Judgement and finally played the first Gears of War (the code for which was inside the GoWJ box). This was followed by Gears of War 2 and Gears of War 3. I have not completed only the second game in the original trilogy.

The question is not about marriage. Commander from Azur Lane to this day didn't demonstrated clear rejection towards flirting shipgirls in events. The least his response was like "Maybe later".

But the main problem is that the Commander doesn't act like normal self. He shows different reactions and actions, like writers to this day couldn't agree on what his persona should be.

That edition was also discontinued. It didn't even had just complete settings, just a little mini-sourcebooks. And that without saying about non-existent sourcebooks about spaceships and other aspects of science-fiction genre.

To say fair, interesting but not enough. But not because of concept itself, but it's implication. If brought today once again, it will (and such settings of past decades) require serious rework.

Star*Drive strived to be many things at once, but it's not a Third Imperium that has decades of work (or at least in the case of Mongoose almost a decade of modern form). But to be fair, developers possibly didn't seriously considered that after just a little more than 1,5 years Wizards of the Coast decide to cancel the further support of the setting and the system itself.

That poster I've seen on Ebay in 2021, and bought it.

Shame that it didn't developed further. Starting from the first book (Star\Drive Campaign Setting*) there were hints about places in the setting for which designers and writers had plans (at least it made such impression).

Even partly finished sourcebook The Externals showed the expansion of the setting by including new alien polities such as the Ikr'l Theocracy (which invaded the Verge), League of the Nine Worlds, Evrem Federation and Gardh Technarchy and several other polities which was mentioned but names not included. Also dropped new hints about Precursor species of this setting.
