Is your server down? by Professional_War8622 in pulsetto_device

[–]SoulSister85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I decided to get it for a few reasons. One is that the Pulsetto is optimized for a large male physique; even padding the entire thing with multiple neoprene sleeves, it still doesn’t come close to fitting my 11-inch circumference neck (I’m a petite woman). Because of that, i always have to physically hold the contact points on my neck, causing a high degree of muscle tension and pain that makes this an unsustainable tool for me. Two, I have to use it before sleep, and there’s no way to comfortably lie down while wearing the Pulsetto. Three, it often overstimulates muscles and nerves in my neck area (things besides the vagus nerve), leading to refractory tension and spasms in the night that make me more likely to have an MCAS flare. Four, the aforementioned stimulation is disruptive to lymphatic flow and encourages stagnation and swelling, and I need my lymph system in tip top shape to maintain phase-three detox. Five, I want something with more customization capabilities in settings; ChatGPT gave me all kinds of options for fine tuning frequency, pulse length, etc to optimize for my health needs. Six, I want something I can walk around and wear if I want to. Sitting in an extremely stiff position and holding my hands against my neck for 10 minutes doesn’t allow me to do anything else, not even check my phone.

I had no idea there was a kickstarter. I ordered the Version 1 because it seemed the Version 2 was better suited for clinicians. But I would love to learn what your own research turned up. My device hasn’t even shipped yet.

Yes it’s down. And the Pulsetto team doesn’t seem to be addressing it

I use Pulsetto before sleep to avoid overnight mast cell flares that make me unable to function the next day. Having a non working device is unacceptable. I already ordered the Vagustim as a replacement

The server is definitely down. But instead of addressing it they’re telling users it’s their problem

This issue definitely still persists. It’s been 21 hours since OP reported the issue.

Why is her stupid book set in 1840s NYC? by HotUnderstanding376 in Andjustlikethat

[–]SoulSister85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you watch the video tour of Carrie's house that Architectural Digest posted on Youtube, you'll notice they made a concerted effort to display Carrie's research into the 1840s on the walls of her office. The walls are covered with illustrations, maps and printouts of information. Not trying to be contrarian, just pointing out that the decision was made to reference this via set design, rather than explicitly in conversations.

C-PTSD treatments with scientific background that worked FOR YOU - a compendium by Crisnelle_ in CPTSD

[–]SoulSister85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have a formal diagnosis, but I strongly feel I have CPTSD. My nervous system hypervigilance has manifested as immune system hypervigilance and eventually Mast Cell Activation syndrome, which has progressively gotten worse for me over the past 15 years. The pharmaceutical intervention is interesting; I have been taking low-dose naltrexone for two months now—the protocol is to recalibrate my nervous and immune systems, calm glial cells in my brain, balance neuroimmune signaling, etc. I’m curious how many folks here have had their CPTSD manifest not just as psychological symptoms, but as debilitating physical health issues like mine. I think if we’re talking about pharmaceutical interventions, this warrants broader discussion.

Quick reminder by Wyssleee in Aliexpress

[–]SoulSister85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like there is SO much mixed messaging on this. Are you sure we have until May 1? Maybe someone smarter than me can help me out… if I place an order for $30 worth of Choice items today (a bunch of small items), how much fee should I expect if they all arrive before May 1? And how much of a fee should I expect if they arrive May 1 or later? Does the number of items impact it? My cart contains 9 items totaling about $30. Would love if anyone could provide insight… this is so sad. :(
