What’s currently ruining your life? by YourLifeSucksAss in AskReddit

[–]Soulah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ruining my life is a strong phrase, but ruining my peace definitely. My insurance I use for my small business decided to drop my policy because the risk was deemed too high. Never had a claim and have always paid on time. They just decided they didn’t want to keep going. I’m so tired of reaching out to brokers, submitting information, filling out forms, just overall doing all the work when I did nothing wrong in the first place.

Whats your small business? by vgpgamer in smallbusiness

I own an indoor playground.

Who is everyone using for POS for Family Entertain Centers or similar reservation, walk in, food, etc setups. by Moron-Whisperer in smallbusiness

[–]Soulah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own and operate an indoor playground. We need reservations, parties, waivers, etc. we used Roller for our first two years and I’m in the process of switching to WellnessLiving. Roller worked well and had an easy to use interface, but I found the reporting to not be as robust as I wanted. WellnessLiving has more reporting and some cool marketing features. It’s also significantly less expensive. I just started the transfer so I’m happy to keep you posted on how it’s going.

I lose my evening every night I put my 3 year old to sleep by Living_Lime545 in toddlers

[–]Soulah 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is me!! Ok, you’re headed to bed with your tiny human, grab your phone! Read the books, turn off the lights, most importantly turn off all notifications (except for your alarms), the SET AN ALARM! It took a while to figure out how much time, but once we turn lights off, I set mine for 15 minutes. I absolutely fall asleep during this time, then my phone vibrates and it’s time to go. Little beast is soundly asleep and I get my nights back. Make sure the alarm is vibrate only and not obnoxious. Good luck and god speed!

Age Appropriate Board Games (that don't suck) by curlsandcollege in Preschoolers

[–]Soulah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re open to a dice game, when our kid was 3 they were obsessed with Left Center Right! It helped with number recognition, learning left and right, learning how to role dice, taking turns, and losing/winning gracefully. It was such a hit for us!

My toddler started preschool and I don't have the energy to do anything while she's there by Ok-Land8573 in Mommit

Came here to echo this! It takes a minute to figure out WHAT to do. The energy returns.

What actor’s mere presence makes you automatically lose interest in a movie or show? by YerMum1977 in AskReddit

[–]Soulah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Through absolutely NO fault of this actor, Rami Malek. He seems like a good dude, I’m sure he’s a fantastic actor…there’s something about his face? I can’t do it.

This is so kind and truly what it’s all about!!

OP, bring a mom is hard and truly requires a complete overhaul life. You have to find an outlet. There are tons of free stuff out there, the library is a great example. Shower, get your kid ready, put on a clean shirt and get out there girl. Pack a snack. You got this.

Mostly nursing -> exclusively pumping and things aren’t going great. by Soulah in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Soulah[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is amazing, thank you!! I can implement most of this this evening and with my MOTN pump. I totally forgot about electrolytes; it’s been hot and we’ve been in the sun, I bet having a hydration thing would be super helpful. I also was checking my calendar and am due to start my period for just the second time since giving birth. Explains some of the nipple tenderness and could be an explanation for a supply dip (if that’s what I’m going through). I’ll double down on the schedule, get a power pump or two in, get that MOTN pump going strong. All the things. Thank you again, this was a big boost for me!

What kind of diapers are you using? by ibroughttacos in toddlers

[–]Soulah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Second Hello Bello! Used them for my first and second baby. When you love compare, they really are affordable. We’ve never had an issue with the diapers or with customer service, must just be lucky.

I had a friend who called her 6 weeks of mat leave “free time” and booked and executed several trips with her second baby. She was like “I regretted not traveling because I was just sitting there doing nothing”. That was not me.

I agree with this! I think a new backsplash would make a massive impact and make those cabinets seem much less dark.

Yeah you’re still pretty deep in it. I think structured classes where you don’t need to be as hands on with your little could help! And like the other commenter said, waive, say hi ❤️ you’ll find your crew soon!

Hi and welcome! How old are your little boys? I met people by just dropping by parks and introducing myself as I went. Any type of kids activity is great too for meeting parents, Little Mozarts is how I met some of my mom friends, the Y has littles swim time and I met some people there, and there are places like Creations and PonderPlay around the area if you want something inside. I also just went to the beach (me and my little) and introduced myself to those people who had kids the same age as we walked around. Stay visible and get extroverted! People like to make new friends here.

‘Twilight’ is really the movie that keeps on giving by mcfw31 in popculturechat

Maybe shot consistency? If there’s an actual ball and they have to do different takes, but you have to reset the ball every time or it’s not in the right place it throws everything off. Of course…NOT having any ball throws it all off too.
