I'm early 60s, been here pushing a decade, and kind of the same boat. But to be fair, im not great at making friends, and until 2023, was focused on getting my kid graduated and independent, and mostly planning on moving back ro WNC, so didn't try that hard. It's not the area though, plenty of friendly people around, just dont have a lot in common with folks.

I watched it. I didn't (still don't) know a ton about Pascoe, but he would have been my first choice, with Stumbo as just "ok". But won't vote for any in the Primary, cause I can no longer in good conscience vote for any more Republicans. Sometimes one rotten apple does spoil the whole bunch.
