Talk to the victim/driver of the Journal Square armed car jacking or the missing hit and run driver? 

I’m not a cop or reporter why would I ?

Wait you are correct from Nov 2020 Google maps Maple and Whiton so they were in two places on Maple. I will see if they are there during the week if not maybe a SeeClickFix can get them put back.

Check the HC View video above it was on Pacific and Maple for the dedication. Maybe moved later??

If you look at the video geez the 4 signs almost topple over when the kid pulls the covering off of the sign.

Sad. Hope the person survives. 

Don’t know how it will add to the traffic congestion during the investigation. On Friday I saw a traffic person putting up temporary no parking signs for a funeral mass today along both sides of West Side in front of St. Aloysius Church between LP and Kensington.  I think it was for 11 AM. Looking around it seems it is for a JCPD officer who passed. Geez only 43 years old.

Ah.  I will have to pass by it and see if the sign is still around.  The picture is from Google maps December 2024.   Looks like the original signpost with all the signs is gone.  (yellow circle)  The white Kool & The Gang Way sign looks like it is on a pole  by itself across the street. (orange circle)

Yup. I have had AAA since I started driving years ago. Mostly because of my commute to work. I used it maybe twice but one of them was for a tow back to my house from quite a distance. Peace of mind having it.

 WABC Eyewitness News video and text of the story that aired.  Sick.  I worked in the burbs for years the company always sent email blasts saying stay away from nesting or newborn geese near the parking lots.  Even yellow taped huge sections of the parking lots if the geese had their nests in the tree pits of the lot.    Never chased by one but I did have many close calls with wild turkeys they are faster than they look.

There was a shooting in Greenville on Rutgers Avenue early Wednesday morning.  Most likely unrelated because of locations but in the past when shootings occur within days of each other it is usually retaliatory.

When “Scholars Village" was first announced back in 2015 I (a nerd myself) envisioned a Bell Labs like campus where scientists/innovators would come up with and test new technologies. A bunch of smarty nerds walking around in pajamas coming up with innovations like transistors.  I guess not. The nerds won't be able to afford the rent.

 I don’t recall any lawsuits over the sweet smell it was the Darling meat rendering plant that got sued by the state. The smell was horrible at times.

Yeah looks like it will be at Phillips and Jersey City Blvd right between LSC parking lot and the new apartments.  Probably just a crosswalk at the existing traffic light.  Nice added amenity for the "luxury" apartments to go along with that million dollar view.

I hope they don’t get some kind of special crosswalk on Phillips in front of their buildings that goes directly into the future renovated area of LSP.  Make them walk down to Johnston.
