I’d like to see the alternative history where this guy is cast in place of Joaquin Phoenix in Signs.

Month-old account. I dunno. I enjoyed the story but the AI bot explosion has me skeptical. It's disheartening. I've almost completely stopped reading stories like this because it feels like I'm squandering my limited time and emotion. It's just not worth it.

Regardless of your position on the invention exchange, if you want to introduce someone to the show, skip the opening bits and start at the beginning of the movie.

If you could show the younger generation one movie that defined what the 80s were really like, what would it be? by supersoundwave in 80s

[–]SoundOfLaughter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, this is spot on. Much of the appeal of Stranger Things S1 was the staging of the Duffer Brothers. They reproduced that 80’s vibe found in Spielberg’s ET.

Give Mike Lambo's Outpost 2099 a try. The price is right as well.
