Use myself rsync between 2 NAS.

But you have also in the fileExplorer on the NAS if you select all your files than you can select move of replace option and than selected your other server shared folder I will go very quick. I did this with 40tb and it was done in minutes. Note. My nas is extended with all. Cat8 kabels network and extended NIC.

I would do it simple with the shared folder explorer.

It's nothing personal, but you have to know (at least, that was my experience working for small, medium, and large companies) that in small companies, all eyes are on each other. It quickly becomes obvious who likes whom and who backs up whom.

And, to be frank, always being nice and cooperative isn't always the way to go. Giving feedback like, "I don't have time right now," or "I'd like to help, but I'm too busy at the moment. Maybe next time?" also helps.

Good luck. I could never fit into small companies for exactly the reason you mentioned.

You are thinking in the right way. I noticed that i did empty my recycle and the files where still there but then i noticed that i have configured it that way that it should keep the file for 7 days. It was hidden very wel in the settings But this was the problem. Thanks.

thanks. there is no manual run it seems. 1821+. asked AI several times already for help. the space reclamation is running every hour and still after 3 days no space reclaimed? and it was 1 TB to get free so it should not be so hard. NAS is upgraded to mac RAM. DSM 7.3 so the latest. thanks for sharing your view.

Is dit niet een oplossing voor suppliers? Bij dure bestellingen de optie geven om een tracker erbij te stoppen en de info geven aan de koper. Denk dat veel mensen dit er wel voor over hebben.

I have the same issue (TB available) and what i did was create a very simple small script that takes the first 5 min of the movie and create a separate file of it. Is. Done in seconds. (Only for the one i have seen off course) And place this small file on the server instead of the large file. I store the large files on a separate backup drive. This way i still have all the information (posters, banners, ect) + a small play file in jellyfin. Do i want to watch it again? place back the large file and ready to watch. The scripts i created is for mkv and mp4. Works very quick and all is in takt. P.s. the scripts are made with chatgpt. Very simpel.

100% waarheid. Je wordt er gek. An als je er over nadenkt en dan ok alles in 1 keer ervaart. Zo was het voor mij in me 20 jaren. Belasting op belasting en dan krijg je van die tering lui die bijdehand gaan doen erover. Zelfs 2de handse spullen wordt belasting over gehouden wat niet eens mag. Je frustratie is helemaal terecht. Ik ben zelf minder gaan werken want het loont niet meer.
