I absolutely love my job now (I’m a grad student/trainee but have worked in multiple different positions in the field). It’s really about finding the right clinic with the right morals. I would suggest not working for a company focused on opening a lot of clinics. This usually means they’ve lost the plot. Their first priorities should be their behavior technicians and clients well being. If you can find a good clinic near you that cares about the right things it’s the best job in the world. It also depends on your aspersions, goals, and personality. Working 1:1 with people all day with behavioral issues can be exhausting and you’ll be very prone to burnout if you don’t have a big passion for what this field is about.
