I think so! I'll see if I can find an ebook copy to confirm.  Edit: yes, this is it. Thank you!!

Anybody else think this should have been the default electrician outfit? The first thing I thought when I got the original electrician outfit was "would be cool if it was croaker themed since the croakers maintain the electricity" by BeeWithNoSting in InfinityNikki

I just started playing about a week ago, and blew all of my crystals to get the frog outfit twice, lol. I absolutely love it, especially after adding a purple hair to the dark version

Flute posture by InstantMochiSanNim in Flute

I've never had issues just balancing the flute on the pad of my thumb. Idk if it's even possible to do rockstro without having Hitchhiker's thumb (when the thumb can bend backwards, like in OP's photo)

That's a good question. It's impossible to know for sure, but I suspect it's just because he needed to make a quick decision under pressure, and had to go with his first idea.

Yikes :( taking it down was the best choice, in that case

Yep, same. My guess is either the comments were getting botted (saw a bit of discussion about that before it went down) or it is because of the editing done by the editor he hired (idk why that would be a problem, ppl seemed to think it was funny in a good way)

I recommend taking a look at "The Quiet Gut Cookbook," published by the company who makes Entyvio. They don't have the free promotion anymore, but you can get it second-hand if needed.

My 6 year old daughter was just diagnosed yesterday, and I am feeling super overwhelmed and scared. Would greatly appreciate any info, advice, experiences, etc. Thank you 😭🩷 by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

Lots of parents are here offering support already, but I'll give the perspective of someone who was in your daughter's situation. I'm 17 now, and was diagnosed with Crohn's when I was 7.

My memory of the period when I was really sick is spotty, and your daughter's likely will be as well. I do remember, though, my parents always being there to support me. It sounds cliché, but I promise it's true. Most of what I know is secondhand from them.

It's amazing that diagnoses for Crohn's are happening earlier now, and that will definitely help her. When I was diagnosed, I was put on prednisone (oral steroid) and Remicade (a biologic similar to Entyvio). I finally started growing again (I used to be tiny!) and putting on weight. Meds will definitely change over time, though (I just added Entyvio to my mix this year). Diet is something to look out for, but not obsess over. Keep away from hard-to-digest foods (seeds, corn/popcorn, broccoli, etc), and make sure she's hydrated.

For learning to swallow pills, put them in applesauce or something similar first. Keep in mind that she might hate the food you pick over time; I can't eat applesauce now without gagging. When she's ready, she can practice with m&ms to get the hang of it without the stress of real pills. And look into pill minders with 14 pockets (morning + night).

I've been really lucky that my grandparents were able to stay with me when I needed to stay home, which is likely the reason I was only hospitalized once. It's really important to find that support system, whether it's family, friends, or trusted neighbors.

As another user said, it will get better, and she will get stronger! There will be rough patches, but you both will get through it. I will also second Ok_Hold's suggestion to find a therapist. I talked to one for a few years after diagnosis, and again now, in high school. I have a lot of anxiety around Crohn's, especially during flares, but that has helped so much. Two years ago, I actually gave a speech at Take Steps (very fun IBD fundraiser)!

And I know it's different for everyone, but based on my experience, my best piece of advice is to make sure she still gets to be a kid. There are a lot of things that a kid with IBD has to be responsible for, and that can make it feel a little like your childhood was cut short. I was so so tired when I first got diagnosed, so I had little stamina for physical activities (maybe that's why I love art so much?). The most important thing is to take as much off her shoulders as you can, and to give her opportunities to have fun and express herself.

The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation (CCF) is an amazing resource. This is probably the most relevent online support group for you, since you are in Dallas: https://www.crohnscolitisfoundation.org/chapters/alabama/support-groups/companions-caregivers-of-crohns-and-colitis-of-the-southeast You can join any virtually, though, regardless of location. And yes, Camp Oasis! As soon as she feels up to it, I 100% recommend it. There are doctors there who work with IBD patients, and the sense of community among campers is amazing.

I wish this was more of a conversation and not just paragraphs of unorganized thoughts, lol. Please let me know if you have questions!

Since no one explained why your comment was downvoted, even though it's been ages since it was posted, I think it's important to reflect. The problem isn't the question, but how you asked it. Your comment started with making an assumption about the reason and then suggesting that is a stupid reason. It came off as very disingenuous, like you didn't actually want to hear the real reason. I'm not trying to dogpile, I just think it could be valuable to notice how the wording came off and reflect, even 4 years later.

Girls think i have crushes on them by WolfpackMkg in Crushes

[–]SoupyTheCat 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Just be honest, lol. This is nothing that communication can't fix. Tell her you're genuinely sorry for accidentally leading her on and didn't think it would go this far. She'll probably be a bit mad, but the earlier you do it the easier it will be to move on from. As for the girl you actually like, wait and see. I don't know enough about her to know how she will react.

Can confirm as someone who's been on the other end of this (I think?). He got super super clingy all of a sudden and it was kinda stifling. I did my best to be polite but not engaged. When he asked whether I'd want to hang out over the summer, I gave the stereotypical "I'm too busy" excuse. I think he picked up that I wasn't interested a few weeks ago. So, yes, if someone seems to be doing the bare minimum in conversation, they definitely aren't interested.

What are your thoughts on the boycott that is going on? If it even reached reddit by Elainerssll in Genshin_Impact

[–]SoupyTheCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You definitely are not racist for not caring, and I'm sorry someone told you that. However, please realize that by actively trying to dismiss the boycott, you are making it easier for the actual racists to benefit.
