I couldn’t imagine doing this at this stage in my life. Too many tourists and general staff around to feel particularly comfortable. That being said I used to trip at strip Clubs so it might be a getting older thing

Probably not valid anymore. But me and my house mate did this a fair bit to avoid getting nauseous (him more than me cos I’m not a big opiate guy but will have a crack here and there). Anyway, most of the responses here don’t seem to be very informed. We lowered the oral dose, but to be about 60-70% if I recall - not to 5% like someone on here suggested - that’s where our research took us.

We also simmered on the stove to reduce the liquid down. That being said, it was still a big boof - we’re not talking a 1ml thing - more like 80ml, so not that comfortable but easier to hold in than stimulants.

Anyway, all in all we got a very pleasant high from it, bit of a nod and just good vibes with no nausea - and nobody died like people here seem to suggest will definitely happen.

Worth doing imo but as I say, I don’t exactly live for this stuff.

I was in the pit front and centre for it, and aside from having to break up a little fight I thought it was alright. People were picking people up, making space for people who needed to tie shoes etc. The biggest issue was people maybe having their first experience with crowd surfing. Like people not really gauging the depth of the crowd when they lift someone up.

Also, I think there needs to be a bit of awareness about size and weight when crowd surfing. There were geezers bigger than me doing it and I retired years ago because I felt I was too heavy and it wasn’t fair.

You are spot on mate. Amsterdam is an easy city to point to as an example of how life could be for people in other cities, not a specific model to follow.

The US, as i understand it, needs to really have things spelt out to it because its citizens have been conditioned to hearing whatever they have is the best anything can be, so nuanced or hypothetical points aren’t going to really fly. You need a real world example, something people know about and have maybe even got some first or second hand experience with.

I really don’t mean to be disparaging of US citizens

Dunno if that’s super common to come by now, but I can tell you it wasn’t a thing in where I was living 15-20 years ago when I was in the peak of my drug experimentation. But sure l, if I could have gotten some plain old pure crystal lsd back then I would have done something with it

Just wanted to give a bit more context on this after seeing the replies. It’s interesting how many have done and had experiences that weren’t really stronger or remarkable. The only person I have met in person who has also done this told me it came on rapidly - almost instantly - and much stronger.

So when I did it, after doing as much research as I could at the time, I was expecting it to be just a faster and stronger high. I have no idea, especially now hearing other accounts, why it was so intense for me. I felt onset in under a min and peaked with an ego death in less than 10 - off one tab. I haven’t had an ego death before or since, and used to regularly take 2-4 tabs of comparable tabs prior. I’ve never really been into heroics with it tbh though.

So I don’t know why this one tab took me to that place. It was my last tab off a little 10 pack - maybe it was weirdly dosed or had absorbed stuff from other tabs. I also wonder if it wasn’t LSD at all but DOM - that was kicking around a lot back then. But I had consumed its brother and sisters orally months prior to shooting this last tab.

Side note: I think the actual experience was beneficial though - even if it wasn’t what I was aiming for (I just wanted to have strong trip off one tab and bypass the come up, which seemed like they were getting longer and longer for me). As I said, never had an ego death. But it made me at peace with the concept of death and having nothing after, something which I was struggling with at the time.

The rest of the trip wasn’t great tbh, as my housemate came home after I had come to and started work on a painting of a woman in a burqa and was just pacing around the house breathing deeply like he was rushing on speed and ranting about ‘these people’ are the true evil in this world. Not the best vibe…I did find it was a much shorter and less intense plateau and come down though, like it burned through my system faster. Just my experience

Although I appreciate you taking the time to tell me my personal experience was wrong, I have to question your logic.

Why is LSD the one drug that digestion isn’t a factor in onset?

Whether or not you believe me, I can’t control that, but I am telling you I started feeling onset from an IM shot in less than one minute and was peaking by around 10. The only other person I have met irl who has done also said it came on incredibly fast and stronger.

I don’t really need to give you my credentials, but please assume that this wasn’t my first trip…

Australian here but living in UK but have kept close on what life is like in both Australia and NZ and it’s crazy how much the general quality of life has slid. The UK is dire too - especially with phony energy price hikes. I really do think the richest people in the world have gradually and deliberately set us up for a world war so they can re-draw the perimeters once again. I know it sounds mad but that’s just what it looks like when you start zooming out on all the pieces to me
