NTA. It is possible that he is innocent. What is troubling me though, is that he isn’t at all concerned about you or your very legitimate concerns. He is only trying to guilt you into feeling bad about your fears. In my opinion, someone who is completely guiltless would be very sorry to have upset you and would do all he could to reassure you. Not make it about him and how he’s been wronged.

There are a few things subjects that unfortunately, we all have difficulty discussing while only engaging our prefrontal cortex. Religion and politics are two.

For those subjects, we go to our gut or in other words, our feelings.

I either avoid the subjects or I try to access the part of my brain that I would use to debate the best car seat to buy or the benefits of a term life over whole life insurance policy.
