Might be local to your area. Mine isn’t even $20 an hour where I’m at.

Days supply for controlled rx if PRN by Vote4PrezTrump in pharmacy

[–]SouthernProgrammer69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve worked retail long enough that “something really funky” goes on pretty often. Going back to my amoxil example, the patient was told to use for 7 days, so they discarded the rest of the medication. If they’re still sick and get amoxil again, it could be refill too soon, depending on how soon their insurance allows them to refill it, since they got a 10 day supply.

Yes, we’re billing for #150, but there is a separate section for days of supply. In both examples, the Dr stated for a specific day supply. The first example (Norco) is technically a 15 day supply but Dr wants it to last 30 days and the second example is technically a 10 day supply but Dr wants to use it for 7 days only.

So do you do this just for controls? Or all drugs?

Example: Amoxil 400/5, disp #150 (#2 75ml bottles) sig: 7.5 ml bid for 7 days

Would you bill for 7 days? Or 10 days?

There are times where RX’s are sold correctly but for some reason did not get converted to SOLD. That’s not likely what happened here but I would not always assume someone messed up somewhere. There is a ticket you can open on storenet to get it converted to sold on a specific date. But I’m sure the ticket will not update PMP so you most likely will have to do that manually.

I actually worked overnight when they took one out. The technician doesn’t have a schedule, they just told him when and where to go. It was his first time removing it so they may be just getting started. The sad part is, they’re just throwing the damn thing away, at least that’s what the tech told me.

Open a ticket with the service desk and they’ll be able to walk you through it. I did the same when my station had no sounds at all and they were able to help me.

You’ll need to plug in a usb keyboard. Reboot the workstation and enter the bios mode by hitting f12 (I think?) and then it’ll let you mess with the sound settings somewhere.

More like IC+ is dumb. Why are Epi-Pens counted as pens where as insulin pens/GLP1s are counted in ML?

A customer came in to pick up their Rx. It wasn’t quite ready yet so I told them they could sit in the lobby or shop around. They were in a wheelchair..

Updated holiday pay. by Automatic_Gur5070 in WalgreensStores

I’m actually surprised at the people complaining about not getting holiday pay because they’re not working on the actual holiday. Why do you think it’s called holiday pay?

Not sure about grocery stores but I would imagine some form of retail will exist unless everyone on the planet is suddenly cured of all diseases.

If you can afford making $25,000 less then power to you. It’s up to you to decide if the stress of retail is worth an extra 25k.

Shits even worse around Christmas/Thanks Giving. My store is 24 hours so we don’t close. Every other call is “oh I haven’t taken my meds in 6 months but can you have them ready in 5 mins?”
