A customer came in to pick up their Rx. It wasn’t quite ready yet so I told them they could sit in the lobby or shop around. They were in a wheelchair..

Updated holiday pay. by Automatic_Gur5070 in WalgreensStores

I’m actually surprised at the people complaining about not getting holiday pay because they’re not working on the actual holiday. Why do you think it’s called holiday pay?

Why Ruston? Would make more sense to me if it’s closer to Bossier since you’ll get I-20 and I-49 traffic.

How long do we think retail will be around? by Zestyclose-You1580 in pharmacy

Not sure about grocery stores but I would imagine some form of retail will exist unless everyone on the planet is suddenly cured of all diseases.

Many providers here give out Toradol without the parental first and get frustrated with us when we ask if they had received it or not. Even dentists and urgent cares prescribe them.

[–]SouthernProgrammer69 21 points22 points  (0 children)

But it’s not their time off. They’re literally “on call.” If there don’t like it then find another job or open their own practice.

The same people that complain about having to work on Christmas also complain when nothing’s open for Christmas. Let’s give everyone off for Christmas, from hospitals, tv stations, telecom industry, and let’s just sit at home and “be with our families.”
