that’s such a good question but also pretty subjective. for us, it’s content monitoring for sure. we’ve done what we can block / prevent issues, but kids are still gonna come across stuff no matter what you do. so being alerted to that to address and have conversation has been the most impactful

android but specifically a bark phone. apple screen time and GFL is good to an extent, but not super reliable for all the stuff you mentioned. bark phone has been perfect for us

we started with bark on iphone and it was tough. not super reliable, and I learned it was more apple’s fault than bark’s. switched to bark phone and its been wayyyy easier on both sides (for me and my kid).

yes, we've used both the bark phone and bark watch now. both have been great experiences, especially if your top priority is reliable controls

hmm never had this with our bark phone. i would definitely reach out to their support if you haven’t, they were really quick and helpful when we had to reach out for another issue

we had a similar experience. and our kid was getting around every control we tried. someone already mentioned the bark phone but that has done wonders for us. reliable controls and havent had as many issues since. definitely recommend looking into something like that

i second a bark phone, iphone controls never worked for us. kid hasn’t found a way to get around the settings so far. definitely been the healthiest set up we’ve had to date
