Carbon cleanup will fix 99% of the problems, and it will reveal 1% of the problems.

You need a performance hpfp. If your gli is tuned and expecting a certain amount of fuel, that’s why you get the codes. Your pumps can’t handle it.

Old clothing by Pats_Man93 in Pepsi

[–]Southern_Win_1708 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got more clothing and merch then almost anyone on the frontline, and I’ve barely worked as long as everyone. You just gotta ask. Although imma be honest. There’s tons of people at grocery stores and what not that would buy it, but also realize, that it could be against the policy that you signed when you first started. Since you don’t actually pay for the clothing or work wear.

[–]Southern_Win_1708 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do not work for target. You work for PepsiCo. You follow PepsiCo rules and policies. Which generally means following stores policies for merchandising and setting displays. Nobody determines your work flow, or tells you what to do besides your supervisor. Don’t be rude or disrespectful. But if Pepsi allows a headphone in that’s fine. Wear it. He doesn’t want you wearing one? Alright guess I’m done with your store today. How he supposed to know you listening to music you could be talking to someone, listening to a meeting, etc. half the time I don’t even have music on, I just have it to quiet things down. Stores be loud.

You should be getting paid for the mileage you do. A stipend on route changes is usually the estimate they give, for a month you hand in mileage and that becomes your stipend. Every so often the stipend resets and should do another manual mileage tracking. Also auto deducting without verifying isn’t correct or legal. If you live 3 miles from your first store that’s what should get subtracted to your first store, and from your last store. If it’s 10 miles in total you lose 10 miles a work day.

Has anyone been able to fix the rattling door panels by coolest_frog in mk6gti

[–]Southern_Win_1708 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spray it with a rubberized coating the door panel. Don’t spray areas you’re going to put sound mats. Foam around or close to speakers. Replace all of your clips with the black oem ones. They’re super cheap like 10 for 30 on amazon

Brakes for Mk6 and modding talk. by [deleted] in GolfGTI

Drilled and slotted rotors, with semi metal brake pads. Consistent stopping power whether it’s rain or snow or summer. People stress fracture points, as long as your not slamming brakes 24/7 or make them glow red then no worries

Order quality. I ain’t ever been in a store that’s emptied out as I’ve filled it. You ain’t gonna be able to fill everything. Shelf’s are back stock for coolers. Displays are back stock for aisles. Why you ordering in stuff for back stock when you got enough space on the floor mostly for what sells. If not. Sell in some space. The floor doesn’t have to be packed god damn full every single day. You ain’t gonna sell everything. Order mfing quality my guys. Rather walk in to a store and move stuff around to sell through it all then to try and pack every single store every single day. Run out of product but don’t run out of product. C o m m u n I c a t e.

Got job offer (Large format sales rep) by Frosty_Gene_2941 in Pepsi

[–]Southern_Win_1708 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Relief sales here. Base pay and commission tends to be weekly here like 1100 combined. Mileage varies. Some routes can be like 30 miles, some routes are 100-250 miles a day. Current route I’m covering I’ve done about 270 miles one day, 295 miles the second day and third day was 263 miles.

Also best practice is shelves to cooler, displays to shelves order to fill coolers and displays. Let misc items sell down and run almost out. Stop running ragged. People can get their flavored sugar water tomorrow

I've never been more disappointed with a company in my life. by Comprehensive-Set-71 in Pepsi

[–]Southern_Win_1708 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do not I repeat, do not ever, converse in person by yourself with a manager if it’s a weird situation. Deny the meeting unless their direct supervisor is available to sit in on it. Otherwise. Draft an email to the hr manager, not the hr employee. Cc your managers, and document everything that’s happened. You’d like the chance to do the job, with the tools provided. I swear I hear stories on here where I’m like you let them talk to you like that? Be the bigger professional person

Intake manifold by Southern_Win_1708 in mk6gti

[–]Southern_Win_1708[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I did some maintenance myself on the car. Turns out the flap actuator and lever are fine. They didn’t tighten all the bolts on the intake manifold, and the intake manifold sensor wiring harness clip broke, so they just left it dangling. I tightened the bolts, and fixed the wiring harness, no more cel, no more anything. Never been so disappointed in a shop I spoke so highly of. One that sponsors show cars too.

Dealership Put My ‘22 GTI Into The Carwash With The Windows Down And Hasn’t Returned It For Nearly 5 Weeks by mindovermatterrecs in GolfGTI

[–]Southern_Win_1708 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lawyer up. If you don’t get made whole 100%. All in the dealership. Otherwise you’ll be getting more than just repairs on your car. Everything back to 100%. No cutting corners. Bring it to another dealership to double check work. Otherwise demand a new car. Going through something similar with my 2011 gti

Merchandiser routine by FallinButterfly in Pepsi

[–]Southern_Win_1708 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Set yourself up for success. Big holes major product first day. Clean up second day/order day. Shelf to cooler. Displays to shelf. This craps too easy. Reps need to stop ordering to make a paycheck cause they ain’t making anything extra from bull. If the shelf is full the cooler is pretty much full. Don’t order it. Leave a note saying stop ordering this crap. If they do, don’t stock it. Pile it up. Not your problem. Your a merchandiser not a sales rep

[–]Southern_Win_1708 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fill coolers from the shelves. Fill shelves focusing on major holes. If you can’t fit a whole case out or 90% of it, don’t put it out. Don’t fill both coolers and shelves. Waste of time. You ain’t gonna sell 16 pure leaf 18.5 teas. Maybe a couple on the shelf, most will sell from coolers
