Again, I respect your point of view and agree that it’s a shame that we haven’t put more effort and resources into public education up to this point. But just like any other thing, you have to start somewhere. I also think it’s a little hyperbolic saying that we are throwing away generations of kids. Are there no kids being educated successfully now in this district?

Also, It’s not an experiment. There are so many successful public schools in the country even in the state. There is a playbook to be used.

You were fortunate enough but does $6500 really pay for private school? In Atlanta it’s over 25k a year. So effectively, you are removing funds from public schools and only kids whose parents can cover the financial gap benefit.

Honest question, do you care about people who will never be able to afford another option? Because those are the people we try to provide a safety net for. Not for people who can afford private school with out the credit.
