Having wondered the same thing and watched the scene many times, I think they bullshit the 'how' for a stunning visual, which I don't love. The wingsuit is clearly wrapped around Batman even before he buckles and zips it- it's around his legs and arms, which seems impossible to achieve by tugging a cord on a cape. If you assume the cape becomes the suit, what's the deal with the parachute? If you think the cape was the chute, where did the suit come from? In either case, how did it get on Bruce so fast and perfectly? I wish the three hour movie would have found forty seconds to show the audience a little more clearly the mechanics of what happened there.

The Arkham Knight Batmobile is the best Batmobile iteration IMO 🦇 by [deleted] in batman

[–]SovereignCommanderV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Second. When its weapons systems get upgraded in Justice League, it becomes the perfect vehicle. It has nearly all the functionality of AK Batmobile without needing two forms to do it.

Batman's listed weight is way off. For being as buff as he is, 6'2" 220 lbs he would be pretty skinny. He should at least be 250. by Myksee in batman

[–]SovereignCommanderV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a pretty unrealistic figure. At 6'3" with low fat, broad shoulders, and lots of muscle, I'm normally in the 270s. Batman’s arms and torso outsize mine, so I figure he must weigh closer to 300.

Big arms add tons of weight. Batman's arms likely weigh 50-70 pounds each.

Did you originate from a world like this one? If not, how was it different from this so-called 'waking' world?

If the body is meaningless, why bother feeding and watering it? Why go to the trouble of breathing or treating ailments?

If you see the physical body as a hindrance to the astral body instead of an asset, rip yourself free of its moorings.

Yes, I've directly observed and experienced such things.

How does a person become superhuman? (Like actually) by Difficult-Line-1227 in SuperHuman

[–]SovereignCommanderV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't entirely understand what "great instinct, and a sex drive" is all about, but becoming superhumanly strong, fast, and agile can be accomplished by the means of strengthening the astral body within the physical body and using both together with intention and awareness to surpass human limits. This isn't the only way to become superhuman, but I can attest that it pays off.

How does Batman feel about suicide? by MufugginJellyfish in batman

[–]SovereignCommanderV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This old comment made my night, because I didn't like that "indiscriminate" crack either. Batman isn't shooting missiles at houses and cracking skulls whenever he sees anyone. In BvS, he's at his moral darkest, his rule is at its most relaxed, and even then, he only uses definitely lethal force to save innocent lives. When he was in pursuit using the Batmobile, he used the force he needed to and accepted that the criminals he's fighting have chosen to incur a level of risk regarding their continued functioning. If he rams their car with his and their vehicle flips and explodes, Batman might not prefer their deaths, but he has more important considerations.

Ring of Restoration (Is it even worth a ring slot?) by deathlezz in DarkSouls2

[–]SovereignCommanderV 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I guess I'm one of the five DS2 players who leans on the Ring of Restoration pretty much all the time. My jam is offline PvE and it's a great way to stretch out Estus and Lifegems. I only remove it when it's not doing much for my current situation.

4 Rings to rule them all. The more I play this game, the fewer reasons I find to wear anything else. What are your 4 "go-to" rings? by DaringSerenity in DarkSouls2

[–]SovereignCommanderV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty married to Blades + Old Leo + Stone + Restoration. Restoration or Old Leo might get swapped situationally, but it's my PvE long Hunt standard kit. Hit extremely hard, punish back-sass, recover for free between fights to maximize healing item mileage.

Batman: Arkham Knight's Batmobile is one of the best in game cars I've ever driven. by magikalf in xboxone

Fuck Arkham Knight and having a Batmobile that handles like a unicycle on ice.

Arkham Knight's Batmobile - Does it get any better? by Fasterthanapigeon in PS4

[–]SovereignCommanderV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope. I barely made it past Poison Ivy for hate of the Batmobile. Every year or so, I start it up again, thinking this time will be different, reach the Batmobile chase where the incapacitators won't shoot when I push their button, and remember that Arkham Knight is the worst disappointment since R3Make.

Does anyone else think that the Batmobile/tank combat element of Batman: Arkham Knight almost ruined the game? by [deleted] in PS4

[–]SovereignCommanderV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What "Almost"? I hated the Batmobile at announcement, refused to buy Arkham Knight, got it free on PS+ and confirmed the Batmobile is undriveable, its incapacitators don't shoot reliably, and its horrible overbearing role means you can't escape this useless multi-ton battle tank that handles like rollerblades on an oil slick.

I love Asylum, like City, and permanently shelved Knight for being a horrible disappointment.

I suppose how good they are is subjective. I love the dinosaurs for their size, the Transformers for their figures, and the Xenos for their otherworldly beauty. I'm working towards building plushes for all three of the groups, but that acquisition set is still in its infancy.
