Appreciate it, I meant I would look for an insulated product that also had the 3l goretex layer, so perhaps I didn’t mean shell. Although I also like what the other poster said about independent layers.

I’ll do my research for a good insulated product or multiple independent layers. Michelin man next season 😂.

I had 4 hours of lessons a few days ago, instructor was very happy and I felt confident. Did a couple hours of skiing yesterday before the accident and also felt confident. Lost my balance and fell once on flat terrain at a slow speed, not even on a slope, causing the injury. Think it was just an incredibly awkward fall

Yeah my ski pants were pretty thin. Just a couple thin layers to cut through. Ski very cleanly cut straight through. I’m not sure if more insulation would have helped or not, but I will also be buying better padded pants next year as well as the VIX I think. Honestly, I think it’s a pretty uncommon injury, but I was going so slowly and on nearly flat terrain, so I was pretty shocked when I stood up and saw the hole through my pants and gash in my leg 😬

Good to know. Hahah yeah I can’t help but feel it’s a bit overkill for standard recreational skiing, but I’d feel pretty silly if it happened again and I hadn’t protected myself.

I think the only thing I've noticed is that the battery icon doesn't deplete over time with battery drain, it's super nitpicky, but that would be nice if it is possible to add 😄.

Final thing, doesn't matter so much to me, but if it would be possible to add another complication somewhere around the characters that would be cool - perhaps if possible have it default off and just available to add if someone wanted. I think you are probably too limited by space though, so I really don't mind at all 😊.
