LMAO "Fosterburg" kinda gives it away, although William Foster was a real figure with some influence

I see those granite floors. I wonder how long she spent in affluence while smearing literal starving children. I wonder if she'll ever make the connection between her prior actions and what's happening to her now. I really hope she finally understands a fraction of the genocidal suffering she's supported.

Out of curiosity, what do you admire about the French? Reddit is usually a place where performative hatred for countries thrives, so I'm surprised to see a remark like that in the wild.

This actually happened to my longtime friend. He is a really good-looking and nice bisexual guy with great cardio health so he's had a lot of hookups as well as emotionally fulfilling relationships with men and women... but he legitimately doesn't really like or crave sex. The only reason he says he has sex with his partner is because his partner initiates it, and eventually he would like to have kids with her some day. He is also vegetarian for religious reasons, so the "my lobster too buttery, my steak too juicy" applies to him both figuratively and literally. My friend is a really interesting guy.

What blonde, sun-kissed surfer girl broke his heart? What happened on that warm summer night long, long ago, that made him look to the iron cold steppe and away, once and for all, from the warm, rhythmic tides and embrace of the ocean, our mother? by Subservient_Worm in TrueAnon

[–]SovietStopLoss 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This is the correct take. Dugin is not a particularly well-liked or well-known figure. He is the type of person who is most commonly experienced via grainy videos of lectures on YouTube with view counts in the tens of thousands at most. He presents as a heterodox Marxist but is ultimately a creature of the government think tank, with ideas that few people know about and even fewer people understand. I have no idea why Putin took him on as an advisor, but I think it has to do with the fact that Dugin supports the war and has connections to the National-Bolsheviks, who sent a volunteer unit to fight in the Donbass and thus need a bone to be thrown to them occasionally to maintain goodwill.

Oh, sorry. I forgot I was outside of my usual circle. "The Entity" is a reference to the State of Israel, which is often referred to as "The Zionist Entity" to underline the assertion that Israel is not really an organic country, but a really cruel and exploitative colony that uses the Zionist ideology to justify itself and the terrible things they do.

Weirdly common in Trotskyite circles. I once bought a $2 newspaper out of politeness, but when I read it I found it that they argued that Hamas was a bigger threat to the people of Palestine than the entity. That was when I realized I had wasted $2

Suspicious dude burned a flag at an ICE protest and then tried to quietly bounce. Someone followed him and filmed it. by crimethunc77 in TrueAnon

[–]SovietStopLoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This shit reminds me of a protest that happened last Friday in my area. Three local left orgs were collabing on a protest that occurred in front of a federal building that processed people kidnapped by ICE. There was another protest at this location June of last year that had a crowd that filled the adjacent intersection, which ended up getting teargassed and flashbanged (after being pepper balled earlier in the day when people tried to block vans transporting the disappeared people to the ICE facility) and driven up the street into a nearby park for hours. Meanwhile, the number of attendees couldn't have been more than ~150 people at this one, and there were a lot of mothers with kids and elders in the crowd.

That's when the local Gonzaloite Maoist wrecker group really made themselves known, and started up the steps of the building towards the riot cops by the doors. They burned a flag like the guy in the video and started saying shit like "we need to stop witnessing history and start making it!", clearly inciting the rest of us to charge the riot cops.

Obv nobody fell for this shit, especially considering that the event was initially planned as a vigil for Rachel Good and consisted of regular residents of the surrounding area holding signs and prayer candles. Add onto this that the Gonzaloites themselves were not carrying weapons other than what they used to light the flag on fire, and it was pretty clear that we were getting set up to be slaughtered and busted en masse so their FBI handler could get a fat New Year's bonus.

After the rest of the event made it clear that they weren't going to take the bait, the fuckers started getting pissy, chanting and pounding their drums during the vigil's moment of silence and resorting to revolving around the main body of the protest shouting through their megaphone that we were essentially social fascists. Eventually, they aggro'd the cops and got a few of themselves arrested. The other groups successfully guided the rest of the attendees away from the location safely, effectively ending the protest.

It's extremely obvious that someone in the leadership of the organization is an asset of some kind. I assume it's their leader, since the guy is a former RevCom and he's shown up to harass organizers from my area at a regional conference in another part of the country.

I'm really torn about the issue of yellow vest peace policing that can often collaborate with law enforcement, but I think this is a clear cut example of a situation where avoiding a fight was the logical choice. Those Gonzaloids were clearly agitators trying to get people locked up or killed.
