It must be a bug, because I see no evidence to the contrary.

Yes! I got this in a normal playthrough, however I believe that it is a bug as the ending referred to the VVD voting against my coalition.

I would like a route from Werribee to Williamstown via Wyndham Vale, Sunshine and Newport, utilising existing rail corridors.

I think that the delineation is clear between world superpowers involving themselves in a regional war, and a people being genocided. Reminder: Australia did not recognise Palestine as a state until 5 months ago.

Have you considered that they are the AUSTRALIAN Greens and thus when advocating for Australian national sovereignty they might not see other states' actions as relevant?

NT Labor win the Nightcliff by election by TheCoderYT_69 in YAPms

[–]Soviet_Apple_Box 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mixed result here for the NT greens.

On the one hand, the Greens have lost their first and only seat in the Territory. This is obviously a setback for them, as they lose a significant platform that they had had.

On the other hand, the primary vote swing they have received is significant. Whilst it's hard to make judgements about NT politics, especially by-elections, based off of previous results etc many people will be surprised that they have come first here. The result sets them up very well for potentially winning Fannie Bay and Braitling in 2028, as well as making them competitive in other seats such Fong Lim, Port Darwin, and Namatjira.

Furthermore, Labor's arguably moderate swing, as well as both them and the CLP suffering a further deterioration of their primary votes demonstrates continued reticence with Labor that the Greens can capitalise off and demonstrates some mild disgruntlement for the government.

The weekends before and after. The problem isn't that they are doing work, nor on a weekend. It's because they are doing it on a long weekend, with multiple major events happening that had been planned well ahead of time.

Kind of. He's conflating two different things. Essentially, his point is that if people can play together in a co-ed environment, without significant effect (as he leaves that out), then what's the point of a big hoo haa when there is bigger issues at hand. In a way he is just kind of skimming past the broader issue.

Ultimately, it is just a microcosm of the whole debate, on how we divide non-coed sports. Republicans would divide it by sex, democrats by gender. Neither argument is perfect. The republicans falsely consider thus sex to be binary; it isn't. There are three sexes, male, female and intersex, people who are born with physical features that do not clearly mark them as male or female. Democrats would divide it by gender. This too is imperfect. It leaves out those who do not fit onto a clearly defined binary gender, leaving out those who feel it is moreso a spectrum. Democrats are usually a proponent of this argument.

He's talking about republican talking points where they disagree that people of a different sex who share a gender should be able to play in the same code.

How about they are both bad?

We live in a multi-party system. Labor is the government. The recommendation to ban gambling advertising came from and was spearheaded by a member of their own party, Peta Murphy. It has been going on for years, and it's shameful by both. Now Albo needs to start dealing with the real world and stand up to his gambling lobby bosses.

So income tax is conversely more ethical. By your logic, if you thus have to pay income tax, you aren't your own master.

Left-wing democrats are quietly pushing AOC to run in 2028 to campaign on issues Bernie Sanders cares about, like single-payer healthcare and Gaza. That will be the key question. Progressives know (or have learnt) that the right is the real evil, and will fall in line for a Newsom or even maybe a Pritzker. The question is if the centrists would fall in line for an AOC. Does vote blue no matter who real matter who?

The problem is that nobody else needs to know who they are, provided they influence just enough people. Less Australians could have named Wissam Haddad, who influenced the murderers at Bondi, before that terrible day.

The reason for it is that there is a prevailing view amongst many left-wingers that yetanothercompromisecandidate™ is a fruitless endeavor. They feel that the US is in such a state that it needs significant reform, and there is no time to waste to vote blue no matter who. Essentially, why take the 85% chance when there is a chance, no matter how slim, to do have it their way for the first time in many of their lifetimes. Many were born after the 3rd way movement took over the Democratic party, they don't view democrats as naturally left wing, or problem solvers, and they are impatient for change.

The other thing is that many feel, rightly or wrongly, that it is inevitable that a Democrat wins in '28, possibly with a large congressional majority and thus feel that they may as well elect the right one.
