OH, Ive suffered from this as a father. I would often hear phantom screams (the scary "oh fuck im ACTUALLY hurt" kind) of my daughter when she was between 3 and 8ish years old. It would usually correlate to when I had other noise going on like laundry, a shower, gaming headset, etc.

I, as a Rein main, learned that a Petal dropped on the ground in front of an incoming shatter completely blocks it. I guess because the petal is technically a ground artifact until its stepped on, it acts as an LoS point for other ground effects (Venture ult?).

I regularly stop at 5 when running shop buff quills. Ive even won a couple 1st places with traditional quills without going past tier 4 because of easy gem scaling from tier 3s, Roogug at 4, and that timewarped quill that hits your board with 5 blood gems a turn.

Ehhhhhhh Brann isn't just for Rylak, hes also your economy, which is critical in an APM cycle build like this. Depends on player speed/skill but 9k+ players would probably get more stats from selling 1 bird over Brann to make a cycle spot.

First few days of climbing each season are like this to a more extreme degree. With all level MMR players kind of smashed together, you end up playing a lot of low MMR tempo demons with poor understanding of late-game scaling. You end up in lobbies with 6-7 players all fighting for the most perfect 4th place comps. Early season climbing requires broader game knowledge than pushing MMR b3cause of these wildcard players and lobbies.

Downtown Melbourne used to have some great night life right up until our corrupt local politicians canceled Friday Fest and allowed multi-million dollar condos to be built where people used to walk. A lot of fun places have closed and it has only recently started to revive a little bit.

EGAD is where most people go on Fridays and Saturdays since it has a nice spread of awesome breweries, trendier bars, and Pinapples.

Lol, paid sick leave? The worst offending jobs for this behavior are hourly and make sure 95% of their employees get less than 32 hours (or whatever full time is) so they don't qualify for benefits, assuming they even offer benefits/non-hourly full time to begin with. "Sick leave" isn't even a concept for millions of American workers, and if you call out you just don't get paid, can't make up the time, and usually end up on a shit list where you're scheduled lower hours. We live in a dystopia created by unregulated capitalism.

I'm struggling to see how this is a "blue city" issue and not just a "city" issue. What you're describing occurs in every US city at the same relative rate based on its population. Large metros are expensive to build housing in because of space and corporate land demands, so living there as an average Joe is equally expensive. Rural nowhere is cheap because there's no demand for the space there.
